Scientists seek continually for the "Theory of Everything"...that is one theory that ties in and harmonizes the law of the Big (the ways of the universe, gravity etc...) together with the law of the Small (quantum theory). The subject is vast and is far beyond the mortal mind to grasp. I don't believe the link will ever be found...because God has separated these just as He has separated the personal and corporate functions of the Ekklesia.
For the corporate aspect of the Ekklesia we will call this the law of the Big. For the personal aspect we will call this the law of the Small.
Now the word "quantum" involves the small things...which are basically unpredictable....just as we each are.
Quantum: A required or allowed amount.
We each have an amount or measure of faith. We can use this as we see fit. We have the freedom to trust or not in what we see as right. Every action is (whether knowingly or not) based on what we think is right.
Everyone will be judged by his or her thoughts and deeds. We are each responsible for our own attitudes and conduct.
But none of this is a deciding factor for the existence of Ekklesia....as the corporate aspect does not respect persons. Our choices do not affect the Ekklesia...just if we will be part of it or not personally in experience. It is based on law the way gravity does. If we do not get the understand right on the corporate level...we never make it to the experience of Ekklesia.
So then the Ekklesia is the experience of God in our midst...a God who rules over the whole universe. We can certainty play at church....but it will look nothing like the real expression of God's presence and power as per the testimony of the bible.
