The anti-christ brings together the power of all the other anti-christs; the false prophet scatters the power of the Holy Spirit (tested?)

Hi there,

I just felt directed to say something simple about the anti-christ. In Revelation it is clear that he is not alone, but is accompanied by other people like him. This is part of the reason he is so slippery to identify. The reality is there is nothing really different about the anti-christ, as opposed to every other sinner. The thing Revelation points out, that he is merely a man - as his number indicates. So how does a man cause so much chaos?

Revelation says that the anti-christ will receive power for an hour and that those with him will have power for an hour (hour being a relatively short period of time, but relative - not necessarily sixty minutes), but what you might not realise is that, according to scripture, he will bring those moments of power together. What scripture? In the gospels it says, "to him that has more, more will be given" (from memory). The anti-christ then, has more power than the other anti-christs with him - and so will have the strength to unite their power.

This bringing power together, contrasts with the false prophet, who does not gather power, as the Holy Spirit directs, but rather scatters it. So we see an image in these two principalities, where power is united at the top, but dispersed at the bottom - effectively denying the power of God and attempting to destroy its meaning. The Devil of course, steps in here, to magnify doubt about God; moving around the image we see, wherever the most doubt can be exaggerated. What is of note, is that there is no "Cross" in this; it is a picture of the flesh, with three dimensions, just as the Cross has three dimensions, which are hidden in Christ.

The confidence we should have, is that just as it was in the Garden of Eden, God will set an angel in place, specifically concerning the flesh, that the path back to corruption be blocked. Originally the path was blocked back to Eden, but now it will be blocked back to corruption. This is deliverance, that the image of evil will be lowered into Hell, where it will begin to burn, just as it will for eternity at the Judgment of God. This is about escaping the snare, that will come on the Earth, that no confidence be put in the flesh. Hence the Lord will be able to rule, without resistance from the flesh - at least in Spirit.

I hope this has been of some encouragement.

God bless.

There won't be angels blocking a path back to a earth of corruption as you suggest, the heaven and earth will be dissolved by the Lord's fire at his return, there won't be anything left

2 Peter 3:10-13KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
