Hi there,

So I don't think of the anti-Christ in terms of his rule over the Earth any more; to me the anti-Christ is synonymous with "flesh" - the "flesh" will rule over the Earth. We don't need to fear the spirit, which is 'anxiety' - any spirit, including the anti-Christ's. To be ready for the flesh ruling over the world, we need three things: not to worship the anti-Christ, nor his image nor take the mark.

Not worshipping the anti-Christ is easy, you just remember that God is higher. God is higher than man; and the anti-Christ is a work of the flesh - so God is easily higher than that.

Not worshipping the image of the anti-Christ is a little harder, you have to realise that God never empowers someone to rule over the world, but His Son. The Lord has paid with His blood for everyone - so the Son is stronger in light, than the image.

Not taking the mark of the anti-Christ is hardest. It is a matter of convenience for the fools of the world, to equate themselves with the power of the anti-Christ; but they lack conviction. The Holy Spirit has conviction all the time, so he will not abandon you, if you have to make a sacrifice to escape the mark of the anti-Christ (this is both spiritual and of truth - you may only make a spiritual sacrifice, or you may both). As long as you are tithing what you earn, the spirit of greed will never corrupt the stand you have taken against the mark.

What emerges from this, is that our faith is tested, but it is also purified. The fundamentals of the faith - the love of God, the sacrifice of Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit - are enough to overcome the enemy. But we must also be diligent; Christ told us to keep praying, both us and his apostles, that we escape what is to come and be able to stand before Him. What will shine forth, is that we have been with Christ in His trials and the Holy Spirit with us. We are supported. We are One.

No one praises the thing, which was used by someone to save a life - so we ought not take the mark. No one praises the mortality, of the one who has been doing the saving, but they thank the one for who they were before God. No one tries to take the arm of the one who did the saving for themselves, but the faith, that in God more might be saved. These things "agree" in God.

The flesh has no power over us.

God bless.
