The Angel of YHWH as YHWH God

Amen. I've been reflecting on how we need to be focused on our new man which is seated in heavenly places, and not focused on the old man and its earthly concerns. Having our eyes fixed on what is unseen, not on what is seen. Noticing how double-minded I am, especially at this time of year....distracted and consumed by all the social "obligations" and the prettiness of Christmas decorations etc.....but needing to somehow forsake it all to follow Jesus! It's like we need to forsake our old man and where he is seated, in the earthly with all his earthly cares/concerns. May the Lord help me....what is impossible for man, is possible with God.

Have you affections above not here on earth .
For ye are dead and your life is HID with Christ .
Many claim to be seated in heavnely places
and yet their walk has them very much alive TO SIN and DEAD IN TRESPASSES .
Now that was not against you at all . IT was a reminder .
Many cliam WE HEED , we hear the SPIRIT
and yet what they heard and what they heed SURE SEEMTH to serve NOT GOD , BUT THEY FLESH .
ya brother is a hated creature sister . I have and keep things simple
because ye cannot feed the heavenly to that which desires the earthly
MANY know not even the milk of the word , many now dont even know the gospel
and i mean MANY WITHIN CHRISTENDOM itself .
Many moons ago i came upon a site . before that for five years by grace i had read just the bible and etc .
But then in two thousand and eleven , may fourth to be exact , SO ALMOST FIVE YEARS
after the born again date of may thirtieth two thousand and six , I came into possession of a computer .
Soon after i found my first site .
I came on it on fire for talking to christains , for speaking truth and having fellowship .
I began to see all kinds of big words i had never seen before . Dispensation this or that , two gospels
odd teachings and such the like .
I kept trying to correct but to no avail . I kept wondering HOW on earth do people teach such things and believe such things .
THEN A STILL small voice came to me
and said , YOU BRING THEM the simple truth , bring them the simple reminders of Christ , HIS teachings
and the teachings of the apostels , YE WILL FIND THEY TWIST THEN and omit them .
AND SISTER THEY DID . SO HOW on earth are or can they ever truly learn ANYTHING spiritual
IF THEY CANNOT even love the TRUTH , cannot even love the very JESUS they claim to love .
FOR YEARS i have kept things real simple . AND YET for that alone i be very hated .
HAVE ya seen me preaching dispensation this , or some big huge mystery
NO , YOU SEE ME REMINDING ALL about JESUS , HIS teachings , the apotels simple reminders
AND THEY HATE ME FOR IT . SOmething went HUGE TIME wrong in christendom
and it was before i was even born but as of late ITS MASSIVE . THE ALL OUT RERPOBATION of minds
HAS NOW SET IN and it will lead the decieved to one outcome . PERDITION , to gather as one
with all the decieved with all false religoins under what they see as and believe is GOD and HIS LOVE .
ONLY ITS ALL A DELUSION

I partially agree, as many people seem to chase emotional "highs"-experiences, goosebumps, and thrills. However, I firmly believe that even our experiences must align with Scripture and the commands of Christ Jesus. We are called to continually examine ourselves, not others, and to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, rather than focusing on trying to "work" on someone else's salvation.

Justification and Peace with God
Romans 5:1:
"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Experience: The believer experiences peace and reconciliation with God as a result of justification by faith.

2. The Indwelling of the Holy Spirit
Romans 8:9:
"But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His."
Experience: The indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit transforms and empowers the believer.

3. Freedom from Condemnation
Romans 8:1:
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."
Experience: A sense of freedom from guilt and condemnation through life in Christ.

4. Transformation and Renewal
Romans 12:2:
"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
Experience: Ongoing renewal and transformation of the mind, aligning with God’s will.

5. Walking by Faith

2 Corinthians 5:7:
"For we walk by faith, not by sight."
Experience: A life marked by trusting God, even in the absence of visible evidence.

6. Strength in Weakness

2 Corinthians 12:9:
"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
Experience: Strength and grace in times of weakness and dependence on Christ.

7. The Fruit of the Spirit
Galatians 5:22-23:
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law."
Experience: The manifestation of the Spirit’s character in the believer’s life.

8. Victory Over Sin

Galatians 5:16:
"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."
Experience: Victory over sinful desires through walking in the Spirit.

9. Contentment in All Circumstances

Philippians 4:11-13:
"Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content... I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Experience: Contentment and reliance on Christ in every situation.

10. The Hope of Glory

Colossians 1:27:
"To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."
Experience: Assurance of eternal glory and the indwelling presence of Christ.

The biblical kind of experiences I can only dream of @Lizbeth.

I want to just enjoy some fellowship and discussion but unfortunately can't seem to keep up very well.....getting old but also still tired from being sick and the business of the Christmas season. I'm sorry I can't address everything that is being said here or on the other thread. But don't you have times of experiencing at least some of those things listed here? I don't know whether you have "received the Holy Spirit since you believed" brother, if not that would be a good start and I believe necessary for certain things. It's like receiving wings to fly above the shackles of this earth and flesh, at least at times, though we would like it to be more than just a rare or occasional occurrence.

Angels can indeed appear materialized in human form.

Which is what I said. Please respond to what is written, not what you think I said.

The resurrected Christ Jesus can do the same, and even before His death and resurrection, because the heavenly realm exists outside of time, or maybe we should say not constrained by time.

No not before his death and resurrection….he was 100%human…..the exact equivalent of Adam, otherwise he could not have paid the price of our redemption. He was not a God/man…..he was a man…..a divine product of his God and Father, but a man no more and no less.

Mar 16:9
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Mar 16:12
After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.

All those scriptures pertain to after his resurrection as he was raised in a spirit body and “appeared” to his disciples as well as to many others in human form, like the angels had done down through the centuries. Materializing is what angels can do, as they did in Noah’s day and engaged in the pleasures of the flesh, producing a hybrid race of freakish humans who had no right to exist…..the flood dealt with that and thereafter there is not another mention of them being able to do so again.

And just in case you wish to misquote me again, let me just reiterate what my conclusion was in my last post….

Those who know the scriptures well, understand who Jehovah is, and what relationship he has with his Son....who is his “heir” (Heb 1:1-2).....how can God give himself his own inheritance? He also gives his son “all authority in heaven and on earth”....so if he was God, that would make no sense. (Matt 28:18)

The angel of YHWH is an angel....not God.

There is no way that “the Angel of YHWH” was YHWH……the trinity is a manufactured doctrine of the RCC, that negates the Godship of Yahweh and splits it three ways, putting three gods in place of the Father. It is therefore blasphemous. (Exodus 20:3)

In Revelation 3:12 the resurrected Jesus is in heaven with his Father and still calls him “MY GOD” four times in that one verse.
How can God have a God in heaven? Do you not see what is clearly presented in Scripture?

You speak of contradictions….this doctrine creates a mountain of them…..

I consider you a loved brother in the Lord Johann. I don't know what you lack, but I was guessing you might not have received/been filled with the Holy Spirit since you are in the cessationist camp, or partly. If you never experience things of the Holy Spirit, that is probably why....because for whatever the reasons you have not been willing. It doesn't mean you are unsaved, but it means you would be missing out on a lot of Help of the Helper and comfort of the Comforter that way....and power in other ways too. Nobody is a superhero here. I talk about things of the Spirit, but they dont' happen often with me, just occasionally, and I am falling short in certain ways.

One little testimony is that recently I had several things coming at me at once and I got mentally overwhelmed, it was as though my brains seized up for a minute and I had a moment of confusion. Somehow I reached deep down in my spirit and touched the Lord and that grounded me and sent peace to my mind and I was instantly fine again and able to deal with everything one by one at peace. Doesn't make me anything, it is the Lord who was my superhero, I was just a confused old lady needing Him, lol. Does that make you jealous? We are supposed to make the Jews jealous so that they will come to the Lord, or receive His Spirit too....He is no respecter of persons, just ask and seek Him for it. :) He has promised he will not give a stone to His children who are asking for bread or a snake if they are asking for a fish. There have been other times when I couldn't keep my mind staid on Him, I'm not a super-saint, but for some reason He helped me this time. We all need the Holy Spirit dear brother. I wasn't criticizing, only hoping to help.

You said angels have no material form like their creator, then you said when they appeared on earth they were for all intents and purposes materialized flesh. Both Jesus and angels can appear in materialized flesh, I agree with that. Bible says Jesus was once in the form of God, then He found Himself in the form of a man after being physically born. Now after His resurrection He has a glorified body that is like the angels and can come and go like the wind (appear/disappear) And just think..........the bible also explicitly says Jesus was/is GOD manifested in the flesh. So it can be taken that the Lord God can appear in material form when He so chooses....the "angel" (glorified body) of the Lord. But of course He also has angels who are His loving servant sons and not God, they are not He Himself but one with Him doing His will.

I don't feel to get into an argument about "trinity" right now........but just to say that there are two sides to the coin and that only the Holy Spirit can resolve what appear to the natural man to be contradictions. The things of God must be spiritually discerned...the natural carnal mind of man can't perceive them. Jesus was both God and man as the bible does teach....son of God and son of man.....there is no need to argue one against the other. As a man He submitted Himself to the Father to fulfill all righteousness and to set an example and be a forerunner for our sakes. As God He didn't really have to any more than He needed to be baptized.

this is beautiful, our beautiful savior is God himself - manifested vilibly in heaven as Yahashua The Anointing
