The spacing of visions that Daniel had, parts of each vision being about the time of the end
Daniel 7:1 first year of king Belshazzar 556 BCE
Daniel 8:1 third year of king Belshazzar 554 BCE
Daniel 9:1 first year of Darius 539 BCE
Daniel 10:1 third year of Cyrus 528 BCE
Spaced over a total of 28 years.

In Daniel 7:28, the vision troubled Daniel much, he was pondering what it meant.
3 years later - In Daniel 8:27, Daniel shared the vision, but no one, including Daniel, understood it. So Daniel continue to ponder that vision and the one he had 3 years earlier in Daniel 7.
15 years later - In Daniel 9, Daniel is given more information about the time of the end vision he had of the little horn person’s activities of stopping the daily sacrifice and the transgression of desolation back in Daniel 8.
11 years - In Daniel 10, Daniel is visited again, by another angel, to add to everything that Daniel had been given in the three experiences he had in Daniel 7, 8, 9. The Daniel 10:14 angel told Daniel things yet to come, and of things his people would experience in the latter days, as the angel presented in Daniel 11 and 12.
Was Daniel able to put everything together of Daniel 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 ? No.
Daniel 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
We, having the advantage of history, and what is written in the New Testament about the time of the end....
We are living the time of the end !
the time about which Daniel did not understand, but we can understand.
