I have quoted this again because I think it too important for you'll to just bypass and not consider. I believe the vast majority of Christians, due to having been deceived only very recently as in the last 200 years, have abandoned the only hermeneutic by which the Antichrist is accurately identified. Preterism has Nero and Antiochus, neither of which meet the criteria, futurism or dispensationalism has...well, put your own guess in here________.
Historicism uses both scripture and history, has the advantage of being able to look back on fulfilled prophecy, has the mandate of every reformer who all agreed on the criteria and who had met those criteria, and which even today, after all this time, still has an accurate lock on who the beast/little horn/Antichrist is. And we need to know. We cannot pretend it doesn't matter, or that to make a decision is too politically incorrect and may hurt feelings. God didn't provide all the information we have concerning this entity if He didn't fully intend that we understand and accept the warnings appropriate to this power.
The very word, Antichrist, today conjures up imagery of evil and witchcraft and demons running around and clear and present danger. But nothing could be further from the truth. The entire paradigm that contextually surrounds the Antichrist is one of deception and camouflage. The beast my friends is like a leopard. You don't see it until its revealed. To the casual observer, he's hidden. But the name itself gives us the first very real tangible clue. He isn't just an enemy to Christ and His people. Etymologically the word means 'instead of'. The Antichrist replaces Christ. It is through replacing Christ in the minds and hearts of people, that the Antichrist opposes. Most of you know who it is I'm referring to here...the Catholic Church system. Not the individual pope, not the people, not individual clergy. But the church system itself, as it is the system of belief and concept that she replaces Christ, and does so in numerous ways. Here's just one...

Zechariah 6:13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

This is an OT prophecy concerning Messiah. Jesus. It says as you see above, He shall be a Priest upon His throne. This tells us that Jesus is both Priest and King. It also tells us there is peaceful harmony between the two ideas. Jesus is both Savior and Lord. And by being both Savior and Lord, He is able to secure our salvation. Through His mediatorial role as Priest, and His Kingship over our lives, He is able to affect salvation, sanctification, and our glorification.
Catholicism however, while perhaps acknowledging this, has replaced it. The system has placed a priest upon a throne. This priest claims to have mediatorial powers, in fact claims unique and specific mediatorial power that no-one else has on the earth, and that only through him is anyone saved. But that is not all. He also claims kingship. But that kingship and authority does not extend only to his own people in Rome, nor even only his own people across all lands, but he claims kingly rule and authority over the entire planet, believer and unbeliever alike.
Do you see how perfectly the Catholic system thus fulfills the criteria that prophecy demands, and how deception has deluded the minds of so many, even Protestants? Prophecy is there for a reason. But there's harmony between the prophecy itself...history...and the rest of scripture. We all know the roles Christ has in the earth. Priest...Prophet...and King. The Pope claims all 3 for himself. We cannot afford to ignore this.

Let me ask: I was aware that some of black Africa was actually of Jewish descent, so that doesn't really surprise me. The thing for me, however, is that you seem to be subscribing to a racially-oriented eschatology. I know most of end-times Biblical prophecy is centered around the nation of Israel, but how do you believe black America fits into this picture, as opposed to the rest of America? I do think judgment is coming to this nation, I just don't think black America is going to be exempt in any way. If anything, they may take a harder hit than anyone in some ways.

I do agree with regards to biblical prophecy, but I do believe that God speaks to individuals through the Holy Spirit in the here and now about things unfolding. I do believe there needs to be discernment , time to discern, and wisdom and all this needs to be done prayerfully.

God does speak for here and now, but as you said, there has to be discernment. When it comes to what God says, however, there cannot be discernment apart from the Word of God. If one would accidentally preach what someone else would like to hear, it would be very easy to believe the message and simply ignore what the Word of God says. There have been many prophecies in the Bible, but I cannot recall too many which were as specific to time as we hear nowadays. For those who hear prophecies, it is important to stay on guard. I like your last statement above:

God does speak for here and now, but as you said, there has to be discernment. When it comes to what God says, however, there cannot be discernment apart from the Word of God. I'm not sure where the 'pre-trib' part came in but...

The point I was making is that if "everyone has to die", then there will be no rapture... period.

In other words, this verse is in contradiction...

1 Thessalonians 4:17
"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

This verse would also be in contradiction...

Revelation 2:11
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death."

Die once and die twice are contradictory teachings.

This is a sore subject with me because I hear Pastors and Christians misquote and misinterpret Hebrews 9:27 all the time...

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

The verse is simply stating that every death will be judged. It does not say that everyone has to die, much less one time only.

The bottom line is that Christians should be careful what they wish for. Personally, I do not see myself being alive when 1 Thessalonians 4:17 takes place, however I do like having that option. :)

God never promised any nation good leaders, in fact it is believed he gives a nation a leader they deserve, which is what the US Got

trump is his own worse enemy, he could not keep his mouth shut, he alienated so many people with his words, if he would have kept his mouth shut he would have won by a landslide.

there is no possibility he will be president in the next 4 years, he will have to run in 4 years, and if he does not change he will not get in then.

Hello Rita...I love my brother Bobby Jo...we don't always agree on things and some of his beliefs on timing aren't the same as mine however, we are definitely entering tribulous times.
As some continue to suggest time frames God told me to not give any time.
I did that a while back when I shared about Damascus and when I received that Word I was also speaking with another person who shared their dreams about that year and I added the September time to what God told me saying I felt/saw it happening then. It didn't.
But this past week Israel has been bombing Damascus so this may be that which He spoke to me would take place.
Mostly, for the last 4 years He told me to keep my eyes on Israel and I have.

I tagged you because you yourself felt sure Trump would have a second term this time round, and I remembered about you sharing about Trumps presidents dying, but then it would be resurrected. You shared this in context of your prayer time and what you felt was being laid on our heart.
Any comments directed at bobbyjo are not personal but merely in context of addressing what he has relayed on the forum.
The point I am endeavouring to draw out is whether our own personal desires and thoughts get intertwined with what is actually being laid on our hearts. Whether that be with dreams, prophecy or interpretations.
The YouTube guy, the person interpreting Kim Clements, and others on the forum, not just bobbyjo, have not seen their insights proved right, but does that mean God has not spoken to them.
