You will never become sinless and perfect in this life. You are clothed in His righteousness. You are still a sinner.

“We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” (1 John 5:18)

“…shall we sin… God forbid.” (Romans 6:15)

Projecting are we?

Did you have a bad thought, small lie, envy of some one? At sme point you sinned today. To say you are without sin,John says, you call God a liar.

Did you have a bad thought

Did you ever do this when it happened?

“…bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” (2 Corinthians 10:5)

small lie,envy of some one?

I don’t envy anyone.

Regarding “small lie”, this exposes your bankruptcy in scripture maturity in the knowledge of how God used lying/deception to protect his saints.

To say you are without sin,John says, you call God a liar.

John said these things as well, try to understand these scriptures in righteousness:

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin…” (1 John 3:9)

“If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.” (1 John 2:29)

“We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not…” (1 John 5:18)

Im sorry. But if you say you are without sin. That you never sin anymore. That you are holy and righteous. I say you are self righteous and decieving yourself.

So then your “god” is an unrighteous god for doing this to hapless people incapable of doing what God demands of them:

“…I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.” (Zephaniah 1:17-18)

Is that what you’re going with you proud sinner?

You're saying that when Christ said,"He who is without sin....." You would have hit the woman with a rock

Yes (but I wasn’t there, nor were any of those men without sin).

Just like God said here (and for a much lesser offense in my estimation):

“And they that found him gathering sticks [on the sabbath day] brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.” (Numbers 15:33-35)

Believe what you will. I pray you will come to the truth. Our righteousness is as filfthy rags in Gods sight. To think otherwise is to be a hypocrite

I have no problems with Paul admitting to being a slave to sin; it’s the spirit and the things that come from God through us which are perfect and right when we allow the spirit to guide. Amen.

Our righteousness without Christ.

With Christ:

“Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.” (Romans 6:13)

Lie.

When he was in the flesh he was a servant to sin.

But he no longer was in the flesh in Christ as an Apostle:

“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” (Romans 8:9)

@St. Joseph

Are you “none of his [Christ]”?

If you’re in the flesh sinning away, then the Spirit of Christ isn’t in you.

You won’t find it funny in the end…

God says that the redeemed are .

Born again
Heirs of God
SAINTS
Joint heir's with Jesus
Temple of the Holy Spirit
In Christ
One with God
Redeemed
Seated in Heavenly places.
Washed in the Blood of the Lamb
Have Eternal life

and here is one that you've never known, St Joseph, until now....(but you can pretend that you knew it)....

A.) "As Jesus is.....so are the Born again in THIS World".

The born again are not "sinners".
Unbelievers are sinners.
Water baptized and religious fakirs, are "sinners".....
Those "under the law" are Sinners, but the born again are "not under the law, but under Grace" and Grace defines the born again as "made righteous".

LIsten...
You can't have sin and be "in Christ' and "one with God" ....and 'seated in Heavenly places"....
..... Just ask the Devil.
That you dont realize any of this,St Joseph, and are probably devoted to wasting your time trying to stay saved by confessing sin, is just the fruit of a mind that is not "renewed", and the outcome of belonging to a religious organization that will keep you away from what Paul teaches as...
= "As many as be perfect">.

I don’t sour myself with being a sinner.

It’s humbled me; because God keeps me in place.

And when God puts you in your place you know the only thing you can do is belief and have faith that God has reassured you that your sins have been taken care of, by faith.

I’ll sin to the very day I die; because that is what kills the body, sin. Infection, eventually the body gives in and dies, @1stCenturyLady.

A person shouldn’t beat themselves up because they sin, they should cut sin off and understand when they are sinning, and are not.

Therefore that is God will place it on the heart of the person when they have done “wrong” such as gossiping about someone, or thoughts of negative toward one self or others in the flesh. Coveting, murderous thoughts, wanting to have sex with the neighbors wife, all of these things lead to death (and in spiritual death it’s a travesty).

And to avoid death it seems to acquire life in the soul of an individual is by allowing God to move in and help by the spirit to renew the heart and mind toward heavenly things rather than the ways of the flesh that lead to death of the mind/will/emotion.
