God in this dispensation is nowhere telling us to be water baptized
Well maybe he hasn't told you yet but he very definitely told me. So I went and got baptised. And never have regretted it.

Peter was preaching to be water baptized for forgiveness of sin....we have forgiveness by the blood of Christ....we are baptized by the Spirit into his death and resurrection not water

Peter was preaching to be water baptized for forgiveness of sin....we have forgiveness by the blood of Christ....we are baptized by the Spirit into his death and resurrection not water

LOL Try reading Peter words Acts 2:38 and the words of Christ when this very question was brought up.

3 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”
3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.
4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again. John 3:1-7

Then we can put it in motion in the scriptures and see the urgency for finding water for baptism for its importance.

Now we can follow the theology of Doug or do and understand what the scriptures say. Going down in the water is a resurrection with Christ and makes us sinless by coming out of the water as a new birth with no past….born again….a new Man.
As Paul explained….
Romans 6:3-11
3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. 11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Now what made the functionality of all this possible is certainly the perfect sacrifice of Christ and the power of His blood. But all that does not save unless we believe.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

To be more accurate John the Baptist baptized people for the forgiveness of sins….The sins of a Christian that is baptized it is like their sins never occurred…then from then on their sins are between them and Christ and if they profess their sins and ask forgiveness He is faithful to forgive them. 1st John 1:9

Please....show me the verse where he told you to be baptized
I had always believed myself to have been a Christian and that I had been baptised as an infant. But later I learned that in order to be a Christian belief in God wasn't enough. I learned that I needed to receive Jesus as my Saviour. So I was spiritually re-born as per Jesus's word and then after a while God told me I should be baptised, so I was. This is what he said to me through his word.
Acts 22:16
And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.’

Paul has the commandments and the instructions for the church today, the body of Christ, and nowhere commands water baptism.

Taking Communion and being water baptized, are not "commandments".

But , the born again should take communion, and they should be water baptized. (after you are born again).

The issue with Water Baptism, is that some cults teach that you have to be water baptized, to both receive God's forgiveness, and receive the "born again".

Where does this come from, this false theology?
It comes from the teaching and the theology of the "cult of Mary".......the Catholic Church.

Its found in THEIR bible........in John 3..........where the Douay Rheims version says..

"born again.........BY = water".

Look again... reader.

"Born AGAIN..........
BY = water".

see that?
That is a lie that is a verse in the Catholic Bible, that is teaching........"baptismal regeneration".

The bible Student, understands that we are not born again by water... we are born again by the HOLY SPIRIT>. and we are later water baptized........after we are born again.

See, the BELIEVER is born again by God's Spirit the INSTANT you trust in Christ........and that can be anywhere.

In a JAIL, a Prison.......in your bathroom, in a Church........or even on your death bed.

WATER is not required for Salvation........and its a "water cult".. .. like the "Cult of Mary" that teaches the LIE that water must be there, or you can't be saved.

Paul gave instructions about the Lord's supper but none about baptism nor commandments to be water baptized so why do you say we should be baptized?

The Bible tells us to be baptized and water was the way biblically, and certainly no direct instruction not to be water baptized. Demonstrated by John the Baptist and from then on water was the way to be baptized.......born again by water and spirit. Stop lying about what the Bible says.

I would think there is a special hell for intentionally misleading people

The Bible told Israel to be baptized
Just because the Bible doesnt say not to be baptized doesnt mean it really means we must
I do believe in baptism.....by the Spirit not water

Maybe you should write your own Bible because the Holy Bible means nothing to you. And that is my primary concern, I do not think you are stupid, I think you are intentionally attempting to mislead people. There is no description in the Bible about how to be baptized without water. Paul says, "If anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed" Galatians 1:8-9
