How many verses do you need to be convinced that salvation is offered to all?
1 Timothy 4:10
For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
Romans 11:32
For God has consigned all to disobedience, that he may have mercy on all.
Romans 5:18
Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.
A quick examination of the scriptures you cited is as follows:
1 Tim. 4:10, it is Paul talking about believers, not about unbelievers. Yes paul describes God as the Savior of all people. But then, why would Paul say in conjunction "especially of those who believe? That strongly suggest to the reader to check and study the sense of the phrase "Savior of all people". Now, not getting into that here, how do you reconcile or harmonize this with scriptures such as John 10:14-16, 26-28 for example?
2 Peter 3:9, Peter was talking about those belonging to the church in general. The "you" there refers to the brethren, not all of mankind. So, with that alone, where the passage clearly does not pertain to all mankind, it could not be taken as saying that salvation is offered to all mankind, if at all, it is offered.
Romans 11:32, Paul speaks there of God as may have mercy on all. Can we take that as though saying that God offers salvation to all mankind? I don't think that would be automatic. So, as in 1 Tim. 4:10, how do you reconcile or harmonize this with scriptures such as John 10:14-16, 26-28 for example? And reality check does not support this.
Romans 5:18 appears to be the nearest to say that salvation is offered to all mankind. But while the verse speaks of justification and life for all man, it does not say that such was offered to all man. Reality check does not support this either. Besides, as with the others, how do you reconcile or harmonize this with scriptures such as John 10:14-16, 26-28 for example?
And for your contention that salvation is offered to all mankind, questions such as the following also need be answered in the affirmative:
1. Was salvation offered to Adam and Eve?
2. Was salvation offered to all of Adam's posterity up to the generation of Noah?
3. Was salvation offered to all peoples of Noah's generation after the flood and of the generations thereafter up to before the time of Abram?
4. Was salvation offered to all peoples of the generation of Abraham and of the generations thereafter until the time of Moses?
5. Was salvation offered to all peoples of the generation of Moses and of all the generation thereafter until the time of Jesus Christ?
6. Was salvation offered to all peoples of the generation of Jesus Christ and of all the generations thereafter up to this present time?
7. Is salvation considered offered to people in places where the gospel had not been preached?
8. Is the preaching of the gospel, an offer of salvation?
Another question is, when God gave and sent His Son to the world, was that an offer of salvation to all mankind?
Is what is written in Gen. 3:15 an offer of salvation?
Finally, please be reminded that the salvation we are talking about here is salvation from sin and death, even the second death.
