Thank you for your remarks. People will continue to believe what traditions are. While yes, Satan was a murderer and a liar from the beginning. Eve had to first think for herself to go against God. It was not all the Devil's fault, though the devil was used for a purpose by Yahavah allowing even his angels in heaven to have a choice. I find it amazing and awesome. While you remark concerning Jesus and his words, there are many mentions in the bible in which even Jesus said "The prince of this world shall be cast out." What one takes in that concerning who was once over the "world of the Jews at once upon a time." Even the Jews became the "synagogue of Satan" in the revelation. The devil is done away with in the "ending of the age concerning the revelation." It all depends on what you believe eschatologically-wise. Because the Bible proclaims "the devil, the false prophet, and the beast" are done away with." Whether or not you believe that is up to you and every other single individual on the planet.
While you point to Jesus being the answer, and I agree, he even speaks in revelation. And John writes revelations concerning which come from the Lord Jesus which had been given to him by God, through an angel.
I get your point, but you aren't really seeing mine, and I don't figure anyone will understand. Some may, but not many. Many want to continue on the scary devil, as though he is still around. While I admit darkness is still around, we ourselves, have evil within our own heart not caused by the devil.
The devil is still around. If you don't understand that it is because you don't seek Jesus Christ and listen to Him. We still have those battles with the powers, principalities, and the dark forces of this world. There is still the principles that sin is in us. And when Paul told about that thorn in His side, he pointed out that is was a messenger of Satan. So the liar, murderer, and deceiver is still around. And the Bible does not proclaim that "the devil, the false prophet, and the beast" are done away with, but rather that at some point they will be done away with. So who has deceived you into believing otherwise?
So while yes, we all have a choice, including the angels in heaven. And some choose to follow the leader of the rebellion, who is Satan, you shouldn't. You should let yourself be deceived by him when he speaks to you. Who tells you not to seek Jesus Christ for discernment of spirits? Who tells you not to test the spirit according to what is written in the Bible. Who has blinded you to the Truth?
The Jews didn't " became the "synagogue of Satan" in the revelation." they became the synagogue of Satan because they lacked revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ!! They searched the Scriptures thinking in them that had eternal life - meaning that they leaned on their own understanding of the Scriptures instead of actually seeking Jesus Christ. I pointed that out to you and still wrote: "" If you are a person who reads the bible, you can search it out for yourself, if you so desire."
And you dig your heals in and refuse to actually seek the Lord Jesus Christ so you might get discernment of spirit from Him!
1 Cor 12:7-10 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit;
to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,
and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues.
So it is that the Holy Spirit gives "each one" of us the distinguishing of spirits, as needed for the common good. So how do you say there is no longer a rebellion under the leadership of the leader of the rebellion?
If you remove the head, does not the whole body die? Did Eve sin and eat of the tree before she gave into Satan? So it is correct that Satan tests us, just like He tested Jesus in the desert. Yet you say the tempter and leader of the rebellion has been done way with, where is the proof? There is still lying, killing, and deceiving, and are you so blind as to not see this, even the problem that it creates in out country today? Still, that is not where the proof is at!! The proof is in the voice of our Lord Jesus Christ!
And you write that you believe this and that and the other thing, but where do you write that you believe in Jesus Christ so that you go and actually reason back and forth with Him?
So say you believe the Bible, but that just means you lean on your own understanding of it. Say you believe Satan is no longer around, but that just means you have deceived yourself, with Satan's encouragement. Write "People will continue to believe what traditions are.", but have you not read that if you teach don't you teach yourself, and as you judge so shall you be judged? So it is that you have developed your own traditions, like we all do. And we each live by our traditions, which can be found by looking at what we believe. As for me, I believe in Jesus Christ and so I talk to Him, listen to Him, proclaim Him. And as for the Bible I use it as He told me to:

Our belief is not in the Bible, so we don't write " It all depends on what you believe eschatologically-wise. Because the Bible proclaims" - because it is our Lord who "proclaims things to us", and so we proclaim/ preach Him to mean He speaks to us! Have you not even read that His sheep hear His voice? How about:
Is 1:2 Listen, O heavens, and hear, O earth;
For the LORD speaks,
“Sons I have reared and brought up,
But they have revolted against Me.
If you have been deceived it is because Satan spoke to you and you went along with what he was telling you instead of turning back to Jesus Christ, the Lord our God, and listening to Him. That is what a Christina does when they actually believe in Jesus Christ, that He is there, that He our Lord speaks!! Our faith is in Him, and He speaks!! Or have you not ever heard Him personally tell you things like:
WE DON’T HAVE UNDERSTANDING BECAUSE WE DON’T READ THE BIBLE WITH UNDERSTANDING, BUT OUR UNDERSTANDING…. UNDERSTAND???
THE SCRIPTURES ARE RIGHT, BUT THEY ARE NOT RIGHTEOUS. THEY HAVE NO ABILITY TO ACT. THEY ARE NOT ALIVE, BUT THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE AND ACTIVE.
SHOULDN’T YOU HEAR FROM A MAN YOU’RE JUDGING WORTHY OF DEATH AND EXAMINE WHETHER THERE IS TRUTH IN WHAT HE SAYS. SO IT IS THAT I HAVE MADE HEARING FROM ME THE VERY THINGS THAT GIVES YOU ETERNAL LIFE.

If you really knew Him you would be taught by Him. So you would never write "It all depends on what you believe eschatologically-wise", because you believe in Jesus Christ and be wise.
