I've been in contact with a friend from Junior High lately. He's an Orthodox believer, wen't to seminary and became a monk (or what ever they call that) now he's back living regular life with his wife and kids. He's explained some of the beliefs of the Orthodox Church. Obviously I don't agree with them. I've started a somewhat dialog about all of it. We talked a little the other night at a buddies house, (BTW, that friend is a believer and is now searching for God and contemplating him, Thank the Lord for that and pray he continues and the Lord reveals himself to him.)My orthodox friend didn't "debate" the issues I presented to him via online messages. He did invite me to his church, I don't think I'll go. But, there's another meating in which they have a kind of question answer deal. I plan on going to that.Anyway,, I'm wondering how to phrase my questions and what bible verses can I give if given a chance to retort. Any suggestions?
