I came to faith after my first two children had been born, I had quite a few concerns when I was pregnant with my third. However I remember writing all my fears down in my diary and just handed them all to the Lord and prayed about them, none of my fears were realised, even to the point where I ended up having him at home and not needing to go to the hospital. The Pregnancy itself was no different from a physical point of view, I had hyperhemeris ( sickness ) all the way through, sadly this didn’t change. I just felt I wasnt alone with it all.

I can't answer for my mother, but I believe she continues to have faith in God, even though she never pushed God on me. I believe she believed in God as a young woman, even after my brother and sister through times gotten to know him better in life. It's all about walking in faith and trusting in him. May he give peace and comfort, and contentment.

It wasn't until my youngest was born that I became a Christian.
That's amazing! I would love to hear more about your other testimonies during your pregnancy journey, so with that, would you be open to communicating via email?

That is such a powerful statement. The third pregnancy sounded like quite a journey indeed. Did you read a lot of scripture during this time or did you mostly focus on writing on your diary?

Yes I use to do both, although I have to say that it was a few years later that I really started to meditate and personally consider scripture on a deeper level. I use to take notes during sermons ect, and go along to Bible studies but I would say I was a young Christian - you kind of believe what is being taught and don’t question or look for yourself. I had post natal depression with all four of my children, but the Lord used my third son and his early months to help me heal from the experiences with the previous two. Xx

That's lovely to hear! What was she like though as you were growing up?

I didn't really get to know her all that well except for her always working. She always was very adamant that one day she would no longer be able to support me and to go and get a job and to save money. She was conservative but liberal with me, and spoiled my sisters children with gifts and what not. Helping family a lot though getting screwed over concerning financial funds, even by my own admission. She seemed to be a woman who just was about her business, who loved to see the beautiful colors of the sky, and was always hopeful for the best concerning her children, my sister, my brother, myself, and my sister and her grandchildren... a very stern woman, commonsense, and loves her animals, and seeing the birds and squirrels and horses. Someone who told me that she believes in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, even though we may not speak about God with each other all that much here lately. She would let me sit and read to her the bible itself, and just listen.
