How come those totem poles don't rot and fall over? I see they are braced yet why don't they rot?

My husband, daughter and I had fairs this weekend. My husband doesnt like being in too many pics, but this is me and my daughter on her first fair ride. :)

Well, so much for sleeping! Sigh.
Nearly two hours later...and wide awake again!

....and not even any lovely photos by triumph1300 to look at ...

Helen , I know were your at....... I do this just about every night.......
some times one hour and I am up, and then after a hour and a half I fall asleep for
another hour or ? and then up for 15 min. and back to sleep, and up again.
I am lucky when I can sleep 3 hours at a time. I take naps in the morning or after noon.
15 min . to 30 min. it helps. Now I know why old people do not know what they are
talking about a lot of the time... I guess the mind is trying to sleep

@Grams I wouldn't mind so much if I could ever nap in the day time...I can't.
I have tried it many times...but I just can't "nod off".
Oh well...never mind. :)

My husband doesn't like pictures, lol, but he is holding Lorena here. It is funny, because he wears an international harvesters hat all the time. I feel like I am pretending to be him. It was at a 4H fair. :)

I took a three hour nap today. I really needed to get stuff done. Lol. Worst yet I am trying to get Lorena to take naps in her crib during the day, and she took her entire nap on me. Lolol
