The problem is not with uploading a file...
It's getting the image from the net.

Are you on a laptop or phone?
Why cant you get it from google and drop it onto your desk top....and drag it in? Or use the "upload a file" ?

Does change come hard to you.

That you work until they fixed what is broken ( for you! ) :)

We are parked at a Native Village ('Ksan) near Hazelton, BC.
Lots of totem poles etc.
We had a tour through three Long Houses.
I asked the native guide about all the gadgets they used to scare evil spirit away do you believe in that?
He said "no" "I don't believe in evil spirits, but I do believe in a creator."

90% of the time I'm on a computer.
If I do what you said,,,save to my images file and Then upload, that'll work, but it takes too long when right in the middle of posting.
It takes all the fun out of it.
I have noticed that not too many persons post images.

A "long house" is a cedar building, used by the natives along the North American coast.
Several families would live in one long house.
A fireplace in the centre and a hole in the roof to let the smoke go out.
These houses are very long.
I thought I posted a picture of one.
Here it is, replicas, they don't live in them anymore these days.

Or @Nancy If I get the photo from the internet I just move my page over a wee bit so there is room down the right had side , to drop it off the page on to the right hand side of my desktop.

Then I do the same in revers...I just move my page to the left an inch..and drag the picture into my post. It takes longer to explain than it does to DO it!!

When it drops onto your page..do you click the option where it says "thumbnail" or "full size" ....I always click Thumbnail.
This one is Thumbnail...but it is too big for me..I will dump it.
Heaven knows what a full sized one would be!! Yikes!!

I have a cell phone but, really, just for emergencies. I don't give anyone my number. Well, my husband and daughter have it but they know not to use it.
