There is only one gospel. The apostles gave up nothing concerning the gospel.
The twelve never gave up their gospel they only gave up obeying Matthew 28:19-20 and so could not have gone to Gentile nations

Peter preached the name of Christ
Paul preached Christ and the cross
But the everlasting preaches the hour of judgement

It all preaches, they all preached, salvation.

The twelve never gave up their gospel …

That’s absolutely right. We don’t have many points of agreement but this is one that we do. I just wanted to pause briefly here to point this out to our readers.

… they only gave up obeying Matthew 28:19-20 ….

This is a major difference between us.

The apostles gave up obeying Matthew 28:19-20. - you

The apostles didn’t give up obeying Matthew 28:19-20. - me

I would tell newbies that the apostles surrendered their lives to obey the command of Jesus. They did not give up obeying Jesus.

… and so could not have gone to Gentile nations

To mention only one, was Peter never in Rome?

I’m linking an article which I think does a pretty good job of addressing where the twelve went.
Stated in the article you gave me:
Peter appears to have preached in Pontus, Galatia, Bithynia, Cappadocia, and Asia to the Jews of the dispersion.

[Act 2:9 KJV] 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
[1Pe 1:1 KJV] 1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

Just look at Pontus....Peter preached in Jerusalem
In 1st Peter it doesn't say he went to Pontus but only wrote to them

Thank you for looking it over.

Writing to them is going to them.

As far as I’m aware, I’ve never physically gone to you. I’ve gone to you only in writing to you.

being “in Christ” is being ”in the body of Christ.”
Yes it is but Paul was first in the body of Christ but others were in Christ before him and this was the church of God he persecuted

[Rom 16:7 KJV] 7 Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

Paul wasn’t first in the body of Christ. As you go on to point out, he persecuted the body of Christ - the church - before his conversion.

[1Ti 1:16 KJV] 16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Yes in different dispensations and different gospels

There is only one gospel and its origin is God. Any other so-called “gospel” is not from God but from man.

”Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin.”

(Galatians 1:11, NET)

Jesus and the other apostles preached the same gospel. Paul isn’t pitting himself against them. He’s aligning himself with them.

That is not saying he went outside of Jerusalem unto Gentile nations ro fulfill Mattew 18

Ancient Christian historians tell us that he (and the others) literally went outside of Jerusalem. What I was suggesting is that even if we choose to close our eyes to them, writing a message to someone is going to someone with the message.

What Paul said in his circumstance is also true of what the other apostles did and experienced in their respective circumstances.

Just because the others didn’t say it in their preserved writings (we don’t even have preserved writings for most of the apostles) doesn’t warrant jumping to the conclusion that Paul was preaching a different gospel than Jesus and the other apostles preached.

Longsuffering in their lives is also “a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him [Jesus] to life everlasting.”

That’s the Christian life.

Jesus and the other apostles preached the same gospel.
Then why did he have to give them his gospel......if they preached the same gospel why would he have to do that....wouldn't they already know it and preach it if it was the same?

Then why did he have to give them his gospel......

They had questions about what he was preaching. That’s what the Council in Jerusalem (Acts 15) was about.

If I write an email to someone does that mean I went to their home?
