Well I assume you believe doing the works of God is doing good. So you actually have a problem with Jesus Himself!
John 6:28-29
King James Version
28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
They asked what to DO- Jesus said believe on HIM! Everything else flows from that point on.
Just because you want to be like Cain and present to God some of your own good works so that you can have some credit in your salvation doesn't alter the truth of Scripture.
Ephesians 2:8-10
King James Version
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Salvation is by trusting in grace (Gods unearned favor) without any works. Any good works we do that survive are works enabled by the Holy Spirit in us and then through us!
there your questions have3 been answered by Gods Word and not my opinion!
You have proven already you have no real defense when you twisted the scriptue as you continue to do.
It's what OSAS has to do in order to prove the lie.
