So what is your point? You seem to accuse me (and others) of the very same things that you do.
I’ve asked you many questions...to which you haven’t answered....scroll up, you will see them.

Get back to me ,with the answers..

Here’s one.

God’s word is Alive....yes?

How do we know the word of God is Alive?

You obviously don’t recognise the Living word of God coming out of his mouth then....?

Strange that.....

God’s word is Alive in his children?

1 Peter 1:23 ESV / 15 helpful votes

Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;
So then, you are accusing me of not being one of His children?

The Living word of God is Alive?

My question to you is.

Why aren’t you recognising it coming out of his mouth?

I’m not interested in accusations..you’ve accused me many times of not being Born Again on this forum....therefore it doesn’t bother me...why. ..because I received the Living word of God over 31 years ago....and his Living word just keeps getting stronger and stronger.

Why.

Because he testifies with our spirit that we are his children....all day every day....yes?

Speaking from experience...pride spoils our fellowship with God.....

Only God can open your heart to receive his Living words....

God showed me something a long time ago.....it took me a long time to believe what he showed me...my heart wasn’t open to receive it...only God could open my heart......in that area....and he did eventually.....I just carried on walking in faith....until his word truly penetrated my heart...

I have never accused you or anyone else of not being born again. It absolutely is not something that I would do.

John 3:8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."

Neither would I...intentionally.

And yes.....that is the Living word of God.in scripture....so very true.

Praise God....

And you think that is any different from you?
I was born and raised in the Roman Catholic church and I also spent some time in the church of Christ prior to my conversion. I came to believe what I believe through diligent study of the Scriptures with the Holy Spirit as my teacher. You can never stop learning.

You accused me of something that I didn't do; something rather hideous in fact. I would like either proof of your accusations or an apology.
I accused you of nothing.

You took it that way...that’s on you , not me.

I said I couldn’t understand why you weren’t receiving the word of God out of his mouth?

You assumed, I meant you weren’t a child, which imo, comes from your own insecurity....if you believe that to be true.

I owe you no apology..in fact I believe you owe me one?

My question is...how can anyone be thoroughly indoctrinated, if they have been birthed in the Spirit.

Once that happens, we can only be taught by the Holy Spirit..which can and does come through Born Again ministers ...maybe I’m missing something?

I can’t take on mans/ woman’s natural teaching....I recognise it straight away.....mind you, they say that of me also...
We must be born again. We have "professing" Christians who have experienced moral self-reformation but not regeneration and are left to their own understanding.

Here is my post to @JBO.

He took the assumption or assumed I meant he wasn’t a child of God.

You also need to watch your own personal remarks to others,

From another post.

YOU!!....took this to mean what you assumed it to mean...telling me I’m telling you, that your not a child of God.....which is on you....not me....

My security is in the living word of God...who testifies with our spirit all day every day, that we are his children ....that can only be relayed to our spirit by the Holy Spirit....who does the will of the Father.

When I said...God’s word is Alive in his children.....the ? question mark that I posted meant.....explain what it means....that was all...I didn’t say you weren’t a child of God....

Exactly.....I have a friend like that.....I can see the fear in her face, when I start quoting scripture....she hasn’t a clue what I’m saying...not me personally..God’s Living Words.....she starts getting nasty and then starts hurling personal insults at me.....

Water baptism was very familiar throughout the gospels. John baptized as did Jesus and His disciples. In fact in John 3 right after the discussion with Nicodemus, Jesus is said to, along with his disciples, have gone into the Judean countryside baptizing. Clearly that was water baptism. Likely to those to whom Jesus was preaching and teaching, water baptism was the first and most obvious meaning of what water would mean.

I would point out one other important feature in John 3:5. In the Greek it does not say "born of water and the Spirit"; rather, it says "born of water and Spirit", suggesting no real distinction between the two.
It still does not make sense

The water that gives life is the spirit not your baptismal

And I agree it is separate

Water and spirit

Flesh and spirit

Physical and spiritual

But again if it is water of life. It’s still not baptism. It’s the word and the spirit

That is absolutely ridiculous. Nowhere in the Bible, or anywhere else for that matter, is amniotic fluid ever call the water of life. The only place that I find the "water of life" in the NT is in Revelation. And I am pretty certain that none of those cases are referencing amniotic fluid.
And yet, God,doctors, and pregnant women know Amniotic fluid is the water of life for the unborn baby in the womb.

Jesus said he was the water of life. The allusion is the same. Even in 1st century people knew water and then blood preceded the birth of a baby.

If the water in John 3:5 is the amniotic fluid of physical birth, then Jesus has mad being born physically a condition for being born again. That is universally met by the whole of mankind and therefore is not a limiting condition; it is not really a condition. at all. I do not believe Jesus would issue such a non-condition.
