God wants all to be saved. God has placed men as the leaders of the family and the church.

Paul said what he said. Some women are looking for a workaround.(Most women aren’t demanding that we not listen to Paul.)

Paul doesn’t think so. Some things are better suited for men; some things better suited for women. Some things can be done by both. Women are the weaker vessel.

We are all one in Messiah. Period. One body, many parts. The parts don’t all have the same role in the body.

Paul, an Apostle, has conveyed to us in his letters what Messiah approves. WOC knows it -> “Don’t listen to Paul,“ not “Paul wouldn’t say that if he lived in the 21st century.”

At some point you’re going to need to back off of the “it’s personal” angle.
You introduced that angle.

It’s church history.
So too was slavery, domestic violence, women forbidden to vote or work, and clergy pedophilia.

At some point sinners are going to have to stop making God in their image and likeness.

God used an "ordained lady" pastor to help me through a period of my life where my faith and everything else was breaking down. The same Ordained Lady helped my wife find peace after the death of her father. You can quote 1 Timothy 2:12 'til you're blue in the face and you'll still never convince me that God didn't call this woman to be a pastor.

We of course fired her.
God didn't. ;)

You introduced that angle.

No. You’re the one who made the allegation. Church history doesn’t support it.

“Don’t listen to Paul” = a sinner’s message.

Untrue. And now you're evading responsibility.

“Don’t listen to Paul” = a sinner’s message.
I have no idea what you're referring to. It appears you are growing upset and confused.

Maybe step away from the thread you titled, ordain a lady, and take some time to consider.

I have never and would never make such an argument. As I’ve said several times, church history offers no support for it.

I have no idea what you're referring to.

I’m referring to the video linked in the OP.

It appears tou are growing upset and confused.

You sound like a female.

Maybe step away from the thread you titled, ordain a lady, and take some time to consider.

The title of the thread is the title of the WOC video.

The lady pastor in the WOC video.
The sparkle doctrine isn't proof God doesn't call women to preach. The sparkle doctrine shows us God didn't call its creator to preach.

You chose a video to put the office of pastor in a bad light when a woman is in the pulpit. Shame on you.

Lambano's former female pastor is proof God knows what he's doing.

That’s right.

The woman is in the pulpit. Shame on her.

Lambano's former female pastor is proof God knows what he's doing.

It’s proof that a woman helped his wife.

I did not read the whole thread, I might have missed something.

Anyhow, here is my take on it:
Maybe you folks are mixing up "pastors" and "preachers".
Not every preacher is a "pastor".
However...every pastor is (suppose to be) a preacher.

I don't have a problem with female preachers (or evangelists), there is evidence of female preachers in scripture.
If there is evidence of female pastors I like to know about it.

The first European Church was in a female's house (Lidea), but there is no indication that she was
the pastor (the leader) of this church.

See Romans 16 and Junia for a church leader in scripture.

Once again, it isn’t personal and never has been in the church.

The author does well bringing Peter into the discussion. The women in the video are rebelling specifically against Paul but rebelling against Paul is also rebelling against Peter.

Tensions arise when the prophet thinks he/she has more authority than the pastor. They don't.
That's not what is being discussed. Prophets and pastors, and preachers, are called by God to serve his church.

His church is the whole of those in Christ.
Romans 16 shows women served beside Paul in his churches.
