so what do you hear in the verse you quoted. Is it better for a part of the body to be cut off; a foot, a hand, an eye plucked out ...then is not the body tempered together not maimed?
I hear in that passage that it's better for the body of Christ to be minus an eye, or a hand, or a foot than for those parts to corrupt the rest of the body.

Just seperated?

What would happen if they touched the mountain?

Were they able to enter the holy of Holies?
No, they would die trying. That's the point. Anyone under the law who tries to approach God in that way will die and not succeed. The way to God is closed off in that covenant. Only in the New Covenant can you touch the Mountain of God and go behind the curtain and have access to the mercy seat.

It wont help you to trust in faith keep from going to Hell.
Believe it.
Faith is trusting in the blood of Christ for the forgiveness of sin, not trusting in faith. You've created a strawman argument. But I understand why it is necessary for you do that.

So, get your faith in CHRIST to keep you saved...
That is what I've been saying. You have to be a believer to be saved.

By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. 1 Corinthians 15:2

Look it up, 'hold firmly' and 'saved' are in the present tense. Only believing people are saved. Anybody who is not presently in a state of believing is not saved. You can't be an unbeliever and be saved at the same time. You'd be better off going back to osas the way it was originally taught. It taught that if you do not continue to believe you were never saved to begin with. At least osas in it's original form taught the necessity to keep on believing to the very end. Non osas teaches the same thing. What matters is that the person who professes to be saved believe all the way to the very end. That's what matters. That's what the Bible encourages us to do—keep believing in Christ.

When you guys come to see that salvation is solely an act of God

It is not. This is false.

You have a choice to believe or not believe the gospel.

God doesn’t abort His children.

He sure doesn’t: he just banishes the ones who became cursed children:

2 Peter 2:14-15

Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: [15] Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray

See that?

FORSAKEN THE RIGHT WAY!

Once Saved Always Saved believers have forsaken the right way.

Where does this faith come from?
Faith is having the ability to know something you can't see is true. God is the one who gives that to a person, entirely at his discretion. That's God calling a person to himself through the word of faith. Some people reject that faith and don't want to trust in Christ. Some people retain that faith in their hearts and they believe in the gospel and are saved.

Whoever believes in the Son of God has this testimony within him; whoever does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given about His Son. 1 John 5:10

But you refuse to confess that you're a Christian! Who is your God? Do you know? Jesus is the God of Christians! I don't recall even on OSASer here confessing to be Christian!!!

it is relevant.

No. It’s a diversion to the passage I quoted.

For obvious reasons, you want to change the subject - to the importance of being saved. No one is disputing this. This thread is about OSAS and Matthew 7:21 ties work as responsibility to calling Jesus your Lord. Period.

Quoting other verses are an irrelevant distraction.
