Another ignorant rant.
Time to take YOU out to the Scriptural woodshed . . .
In John's Gospel, Jesus refers to His Mother as "Woman" (John 2:4, 19:26).
This correlates directly to the "Woman" in Gen. 3:15 and in Rev. 12.
Jesus defeats death on Calvary (Skull place) and fulfills the prophecy in Gen. 3:15 about the offspring of the WOMAN. Mary is present at the foot of the cross while this is happening - and what does Jesus call her in John 19:26? He calls her “WOMAN”, because the prophecy about the head of the serpent being crushed by HER offspring in Genesis is taking place right there on Calvary.
"Woman" is a title of honor and respect.
As to your moronic comment above in RED - this is utter nonsense. In Luke 1:28, the Angel calls mary, "Kecharitomene".
This is a perfect participle that translates as:
"Completely, perfectly, enduringly endowed with grace". It indicates a completed action with a PERMANENT result.
NOBODY else in ALL of Scripture is given tis title.
And YOU foolishly believe Jesus regarded His mother as "unimportant" . . .
You left out the part where Jesus told her that John is now her son, and she is John's mother.
Dont forget that part, as the commentaries you are using, left that one out.
Also, Catholics worship Mary. Their Pope kisses statues of Mary.
To you this seems normal, but to anyone who is spiritual, it seems demonic.
You can try to find out why.
Also...
Mary is special.
She gave birth to God.
She is "blessed among women", but she is not blessed above them, or anyone else, as some water cults teach.
And, all of the born again are special, (not the water baptized, but the born again)...= we are all a part of God's Spirit. "One with God".
It does not get any more "special" then that ........
Mary is not "queen of heaven", and she is not able to resolve anyone's sin.
As a matter of fact, God had to resolve her sin, using the shed blood of her 1st Born.
We are not to pray to or worship anyone but Christ and Father God.
So, when you exalt Mary, you are performing paganism, as its certainly not of God to exalt any person, as you do, and as the religious organization that deceived you, does as well.
There was an occasion in the NT, when someone tried to worship Peter, and Peter corrected him.
If Mary was here, she'd correct you, but as that is not to happen, you'll just have to find your own way out of your spiritual darkness.
The reason you'll have issues in this regard, is because you adore it too much.
