Jesus didn't give the crowds the ability OR the Authoirity to confect the Eucharist.
That was reserved for the Leaders of His Church (Matt. 26:26–28, Luke 22:19–20, Mark 14:22–24, 1 Cor. 11:23–25).

Their connection with earth and it's people has ended. I pray to God and Jesus themselves, directly. The way into the presence of God has been opened up for ALL of God's people. No authorized person has to do that for you anymore. You yourself stand vicariously with Jesus in the presence of God through your faith in God. The way has been opened up. Get with the new program! I do not commune with dead saints. They sure don't commune with me! Surely if your believe system was correct dead mortals would be communing with me. They are not.
