You're not getting the message. If all you have is Jesus on Judgment day, you don't have the Jesus you think you have. That's not a works gospel.

Not mine, friend. You just think my doctrine is that. It's because you do not understand that faith that is alone is not the faith that saves apart from works. Even Luther, who you love to quote, said this. Why don't you quote that?

My “ detractors” are those that say “ Jesus Saves— BUT”
My Detractors are those that sing “ Nothing But The Blood” But don’t mean it...
My detractors are those that deny that they are “ Fallen from Grace” when They ADD to the Gospel Of pure Grace with Repentance of all sins before the die or if you sin on purpose you are damned ....
Those that pertain to these falsehoods know who they are and so do you.....one of Them Vanished recently —- I am glad he and his “ Accursed” gospel is no longer being preached here, but I hope he is OK.......he probably just switched over to The Legslist’s King, Butero and His “ Narrow Way” place....it’s where all of the religionists, Legalists and Tares can find a true home....and boy, do the HATE me there! And I absolutely LOVE it! “ I welcome their hate”—— just like good ol’ FDR said years ago !

You just think your detractors are saying salvation is earned by works. Nobody here believes that works earn salvation. You just think they do. You lack the perception to see why repentance is required for salvation without that repentance earning salvation. The problem isn't in Acts 2:38. The problem is in your perception of Acts 2:38.
If you think that you need “ MORE” than Jesus.....if you try to make your case with what “ YOU” did.....like the guys Jesus talked about who said, “ hey! Didn't we do this and didn't we do that? “ You will be among those that will hear, “ Depart I never knew you”
You are going to find out that Day that all along it was really True—- the Song had it Nailed all along....it really was “ NOTHING But The Blood “
You are in far more serious jeopardy than I ever dreamed....if Jesus asks me “ Why should I let you into my Father’s Kingdom?” I will say, “ You Shouldn’t .....But here is why I am entering !” Then I will point to the Shed Blood That Jesus Himself sprinkled on the Heavenly Mercy Seat” and say , “ THAT is the only reason I will enter Your Kingdom! Two things got me here—- YOUR Blood, and MY Faith ! That is enough.
I suggest you be prepared to say the same thing.....

There are few people “ dumb” enough these days to admit up front that they are “ Saved by Works”..... too many verses easily shoot that down ....you guys don’t “ Front-Load ” Works.....you just kinda “ Back- Load” them....” You don't have to “ do” works to get Saved, but if you don’t have them later you are not Saved.....
Here is your WORK —— your “work” is the total refraining from Willful Sin ....just answer this.....if I Willfully sin by checking out some nude pictures of Miley Cyrus that I heard about on the internet....if I drool over them for a few seconds , having done it before and knowing full- well that is Sinful to do it again and suddenly I die of a heart- attack....does God's Grace cover That or do I go to Hell for my “ Willful Sin”........
Before one gets Saved, they are damned anyway because of their Unbelief....but I am talking about a Saved man who does such a thing..WHAT HAPPENS TO HIM? He was not Saved by his Good Works, But If he gets damned for this , anybody watching better start to “ DO” the WORK of avoiding Willful Sin or they will suffer the same Fate.....

Jesus never said that He would check back later to see if this paralyzed man’s “ kind” of faith that miraculously got him healed would have some good works follow , because just having Faith that Jesus could do a miracle was either not enough Faith or the wrong kind of Faith or something....you guys can “ explain” it better than me....
It is “ EXACTLY” a “Works Doctrine” ........anything that goes beyond “ NOTHING” But The Blood Of Jesus” is a Doctrine Of Works....
Mind you—- I am talking about SALVATION ! We do WORKs Of FAITH after we are Saved to get Rewards.....Works like Giving....John Wesley gave 90 % of his income to God and kept 10% .....if BB gives 10% and keeps 90 % for Himself, guess who gets the bigger Reward for his Faith- Work ? If Charles Stanley wins thousands to the Gospel and BB brings a dozen, who gets the bigger Reward for their Work? It’s like that....
“ Repentance” is the TURNING to God ( Repentance) that was the result of a Change of Mind ( metanoia- repentance ) that a person underwent after God sent the Holy Spirit to him to Convict that person of Sin—- Nobody comes to God unless the Spirit draws him—- the Spirit “ draws men” with the Conviction Of Sin....
We can argue about the words forever.....it makes no difference.....Jesus provided us with a picture to show how it plays out in Reality.....
Remember the story of the wicked Tax- Collector who, with a Contrite heart ( a repentant heart, you could say) turned to God and got Forgiven ( Justified) Simply by praying, “ God have Mercy on me a Sinner”. He saw he was a Sinner ( the Holy Spirit opened his eyes) and he Turned to God ( Repentance) and asked for Mercy....
All debating aside, do what this Publican did and you are Saved forever....He “ turned to God” and now God will Turn to him.....just as He Promised......
Jesus said this Publican went home “ Justified”..... that’s all you need to get to Heaven.....all men must Repent, so do it! Turn to God.....

You couldn't be more wrong. Jesus checks back in with us for the works that faith produces at the resurrection.......

As we can all see in the passage above, the necessity to have works after you have faith is not a works gospel. Now you explain how Jesus was wrong and that we can stand before him without having obeyed him in this life and we will not go into the fire.

You're still not getting the message. If 'nothing but the blood' leaves you with 'nothing', you ain't got 'nothing but the blood'. You got 'nothing'. The faith that justifies all by itself apart from works is the faith that works. Paul, who you say you follow, said that, not me....
the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself in love. Galatians 5:6
The faith that justifies is the faith that expresses itself in love. If your faith is not expressing itself in obedience to God, you do not have the faith that justifies all by itself. You're not getting the message, BB.

I guess you don't read very well. Because Jesus said these people were lawless. So why does type 2 Osas keep saying these people will try to get in to heaven with their obedient works????? You know the difference between obedience and sacrifice, right? They had the sacrifice of their service, but they did not have any obedience. Jesus said they were lawless, you know, disobedient. And so he turns them away. That's not a works gospel. But if you're sure it is, explain to us why Jesus is teaching a works gospel.

No, that's my faith........faith expressing itself through love (the summation of the law). My work would be me trying to be obedient in order to EARN my salvation. I'm not doing that. And neither is anyone else here. You just think we are because you don't know the difference between faith expressing itself through the obedience of love, and obedience trying to earn salvation.

It depends on why you are doing that. Are you just doing that in a passing moment of stupidity, or are you doing it because you don't value the free gift you have received? If you're doing it because of a choice to not care about the grace you have received in Christ, you're going to the fiery place when Christ returns. Because that's where unbelieving Christ rejecters go at the end of the age. They do not enter into the kingdom of God. Weak believers engaged in an honest struggle with sin will go in, but blatant Christ rejecters trampling on the blood that sanctified them won't. God is gracious. If anyone has been doing things like that on purpose and not out of a legitimate struggle with sin it may not be too late to turn away from that foolishness and get it right with God again.
If there is a list of 50 things we “MUST” do to get Saved....
If there is a list of 50 things that we Must “ NOT” do in order to get Saved....God will see to it that these “ Do’s and Dont’s “ get taken care of .......the monkey is squarely on “His” back if you do your part in the Salvation Process.....what is “ our” Part? Our part is to “ Turn to God ( Repent) with FAITH in Jesus Christ” .....simply do that and God Promises to “Save you to the Uttermost”.....that’s the Promise, and I did my part.....it’s clearly up to God now to do HIS! I have bet the Eternal Destiny Of myself and my loved ones that God will keep His Word...That is what Faith is....I ain’t got much, but I got that.....and just like He did with Abraham , God takes my Faith ( the most precious thing in the Universe To Him ) and counts it as “ Righteousness”.... Do you have Faith? Trust in the Gospel Of 1Cor15:1-4
I wonder why Jesus did not attach your little “Condition” for Justification when He told His Story.....He must have “ forgot “ that little part—— He Just loves to trip people up, by not revealing the Entire Truth Of The Parable.... Lol.....
I see.......Grace is only there when you don’t need it....Lol.....Grace Rejectors must really get their panties in a knot when they read” where Sin Abounds....Grace SUPER abounds......”
Carnal, Confused and weak people think that that attitude will encourage more sin.....in reality , it is just the opposite.....the more I learn about God’s Grace , the less I “ WANT” to Sin...I do what I want and God changes my “wants” ....you have to live it to understand it....Grace Deniers will never understand it....
