My mom is KJV-only because she thinks any translation written after that is corrupt and satanic. She thinks it's the attempt of free-masons to water down and corrupt His word. Sadly it's common for her to accuse things of being satanic, and she's heavily into conspiracy theories.

I took her to church recently, and the service was quite good. It was just a simple coffee meetup type service, where we were all gathered around desks discussing different topics and getting to know each other. But at the end she told me the pastor is of the devil and is leading others astray. And during the prayer time, she was loudly writing on a piece of paper on the desk, then she handed it to the child next to her. I asked her after praying what she was writing, and it was "read the KJV only and trust in His blood and watch Robert Breaker"... Breaker is a false prophet. He's not the worst of them all by any means, and there is some truth to his teachings, but he has very strange teachings, a lot of what he says is false, and has made multiple prophecies about the future that didn't come true. So I was quite upset that she interrupted the prayer time for that. Also she completely misheard one of the worship songs, thinking it said "Jesus was a Buddhist", but when I got home I checked the lyrics, and it does not say that or anything like that at all.

She has schizophrenia and is very paranoid about the devil. It's impossible to have one conversation with her without her saying something is satanic. But she refuses to listen to anything I say, and all I can do at this point is pray, and try to be as gentle in correcting her as I possibly can be. Thanks to anyone who read this far, would you please pray for her, and advise me on what steps I could take?

I am praying for you and your mom. God can do anything and I pray that He will give her a sound mind and peace for you.

Sounds like her poor mind is a battlefield....for the enemy.

Only the Lord can see her through this confused mindset, she must be exhausted at the end of the day, all that’s going on in her head.

If it’s of any help, I’m not schizophrenic....my early days as a Born Again, the enemy drove my mind crazy, I had a break down....Praise God he got me through that breakdown....

I now have the wonderful peace of God in my heart, I pray for your mother, that she to will be brought into peace in her mind.

In Jesus Name!....Amen!

Because your mom is schizophrenic, it sounds like you are handling things wisely....praying and being gentle with her.

Do your pastor and others know she suffers from schizophrenia? That might make it easier on you...if they understand that and therefore will overlook some things she sometimes does or says.

God bless you, sounds like you are a kind person.

Hello hies! And good morning to you. I created a special thread regarding the cure for paranoia about subjects and the lack of truth if that is what the paranoia is based from. I will certainly add you and your family in my prayer today. :)

Here it is: Thought disorders common among the earth populations

You're already on the ball with this, but there needs to be follow through. Your situation is textbook spiritual warfare. And you do understand that your mother is not the enemy.

Because you are under your mother's authority (BTW, where is the man of the house, i.e. where is your mother's cover?), you have Lawful spiritual authority, to whatever degree, to speak into her life, as you say you've been doing. But I cannot stress enough that the most powerful results will come when you utilize your sword i.e. the word of God through prayer. Prayer is not a second-best, not an afterthought; prayer is the main weapon in this battle.

That foul spirit is undoubtedly generational. That familial spirit, granted access to your family line by rellies of yours from the past, seeks to continue in your family line and is attempting to line you up for your next generation's round of misery by affecting you through your mother.

If I were in your situation, I would proceed using the following as a rough guide:

1- Get humble.
God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. So when you come to him, you must come with an attitude of complete humility. Ask the Holy Spirit to be present with you and to bring to your remembrance all that is necessary for deliverance of your mother and yourself.

2- Confess your own bagful to the Lord.
God already knows your entire story, but he requires that you bring it into the light. Confess all your sins, known and unknown, to the Lord. Call a spade, a spade - not an agricultural implement. IOW, keep it direct, simple and honest. Don't worry about your dignity; it will return later. Folks in bondage make poor witnesses, so it's important that you stay involved in your own sanctification process.

Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech...Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2 Cor. 3:12, 17)

I keep what I call my "Laundry List" - a listing of my sins, everything I can remember, presently about 30 items/sins going all the way back. It's on my thumb drive. I call it a laundry list because laundry will eventually get washed clean! I pray over EVERY item.

3- Repent (turn from).
You must detest your own sins. Tell the Lord you hate them. Turn completely away from them.

4- Forgive.
For most, this is the hardest part because some have been horribly harmed (e.g. rape, incest, etc.). But, if you do not forgive ALL OTHERS, God will not forgive you. Remember that this is NOT an emotion, it is a CHOICE. Yes, you may be holding a lawful I.O.U. against your mother, but now you are CHOOSING to tear up that I.O.U.!!! Also remember to forgive your forefathers, your ancestors, your rellies, back to the third and fourth generations. Why? Because the sins of the forefathers i.e. those in authority over you, are visited down to the third and fourth generation i.e. to YOU. For example, do you know with certainty that there are no spirits of drunkenness or murder or adultery or witchcraft in your family line? No, you do not, so you must stand in the gap and FORGIVE THEM UNCONDITIONALLY nonetheless. Doing so closes the door to those generational demons. Don't forget to specifically address the sins of your mother against you. YOU ARE REMOVING THE UNCLEAN SPIRITS' LEGAL RIGHT TO TORMENT YOU AND YOUR FUTURE OFFSPRING when you forgive your mother and your rellies. The first to forgive is the first to get set free.

Remember that God sees and records all. ALL will be held accountable for their own sins,

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. (Rom. 12:19)

5- Claim and appropriate his authority, and EXPEL.
Now that you are "cleaned up" (and are "prayed up" with your mother's/rellies' situations), clearly claim Jesus Christ as your Saviour AND Lord. Be absolutely certain that you are his.

There is only one thing more powerful that satan and/or his generational demons, and that is Jesus Christ. When we come into OBEDIENCE thru REPENTANCE and FORGIVENESS, then we can effectively appropriate Christ's authority and deal victoriously with the enemy.

Now that you have proclaimed your Authority, you may call out i.e. EXPEL the unclean spirit(s). You do not need to know its name, but only what it does. Example: In Jesus Christ's name, demon of lust, GET OUT. ("Get out" is precisely the phrase that Jesus Christ said - simple and to the point.)

Demon of rejection, in Jesus' name, GET OUT; demon of pride, GET OUT; demon of pharmakeia/drug use, suicide, sexual impurity; witchcraft; occult; vulgar language; schizophrenia; envy; jealousy; fear; etc. etc.

After expelling, give the demon(s) time to come out, wherever it may be, by not saying anything more, IOW, give it time to come out without blocking it. This is not mere theatrics; this is not an emotion or a feeling, so don't look for those things. This is Kingdom Law. You can have BELIEVER friends there praying for you, quoting the word of God aloud. If you have friends with you, be sure they are of one accord, i.e. they must be in complete agreement, lest the enemy will take advantage of their lack of unity and perhaps stop the deliverance.

Listen for the Holy Spirit, follow his guidance. Others may get a word of knowledge about the situation from the Lord.

Be sure to give God the glory; praise his name for what he has just done for you and for your mother. Be still and know that he is God. All praise and honor and glory to the KING!

I will be praying for your mother's and your deliverance shortly. This is spiritual warfare. Godspeed, my friend.

I also prefer the KJV and Also think there is a mega conspiracy operating in this world…headed up by satan and a small handful of primarily of the Bilderberg Group, ( sort of a modern day group of barons ) with dicatatory influence over the UN and WEF, and world governments.

Thanks to anyone who read this far, would you please pray for her, and advise me on what steps I could take?

My response would be WHY to her comments and WHERE is that in Scripture.

Yes I will pray for her.

God bless you.

Glory to God,
Taken

Yes, exactly. We must be wise as serpents and diligently consider the entire picture.

Meanwhile, Satan does not war against those who are already his (although he thrives on their misery). He's after believers. Satan knows that hies belongs to God and therefore there is a chance that hies' mother may also come to Christ. This is the essence of the warfare involving generational spirits.

While there is indeed a conspiracy (such is a biblical word, appearing 30+ times in the Holy Bible), Satan will twist anything and everything in an effort to discredit the mother and remain in the family line. Satan is "kitchen sinking" the salvation issue with much worldly rubbish in hopes the mother will never be able to rise to her calling.

Enter her believing and praying child...:D

I see that this post is old buy that you were just logged in yesterday. So, how is she doing?

Some folks become very upset when hearing doctrinal beliefs that don't jive with theirs. My suggestion is to stick to "love Jesus, obey his commandments, and love one another., aka the Great Commandment. Any doctrinal discussion beyond that invites disagreement and division.

She has schizophrenia
Is she receiving treatment, does she have and take medication?

You should have information from the local NHS mental health support service link:-

They together with your doctor should be monitoring her condition.

If she starts to behave in a manner that threatens her health, not eating, or eating unsuitable food/diet, not drinking, not sleeping or constantly sleeping call the help line.
In extreme suitation call 999.

Do reassure her of your love for her and of your support for her.
