What He never did is just say a bunch of Scriptures! Are not those already written... I have lot of Bible. ...
Are you being a troublemaker now? - LOLEcclesiasticus 22:13
“Talk not much with a fool, and go not to him that hath no understanding: beware of him, lest thou have trouble, and thou shalt never be defiled with his fooleries: depart from him, and thou shalt find rest, and never be disquieted with madness.”

I agree that the indwelling confirms our renewed relationship with God.
But according to the Bible the indwelling and the Baptism with the Holy Spirit are two different things.
Question: Did the Apostles have the indwelling Spirit prior to the outpouring at Pentecost?
Good question!
You are ALWAYS welcome to ask question of me ANYTIME.
The short answer is, "Yes." Several have testified to just such a conversion experience.
The Holy Spirit came on them spontaneously, and they began speaking in tongues, some having no idea
what it even was that happened to them. And didn't tell anyone until years later. - LOL
It is common today to go to a church seeking the Baptism with the Holy Spirit and have hands laid on you.
The Holy Spirit is very unpredictable. Even after Pentecost in the book of Acts we see the unpredictability.
- At Pentecost the Spirit came without warning.
- After Peter's Pentecost sermon 3,000 were baptized and received the Spirit. (no mention of hand-laying)
- In Samaria the baptized believers did not receive the Spirit until the Apostles laid hands on them.
- At the house of Cornelius the Spirit came on the (unbaptized) gentiles while Peter was still preaching.

What does the Bible say about arguing with foolish people?
Someone else must have brought up the bit about Jesus breathing on the disciples, saying "Receive the Holy Spirit."Does one's Born Again experience usually reside with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit? Going back to one of your previous posts (I think it was), you asked about what happened when Jesus breathed onto the apostles and said receive the Holy Spirit, compared to what happened at Pentecost to them, which was the Baptism. When I was born again several years back, I thought it coincided with the Baptism too, based on my personal and powerful experience. In the past month, reading some testimonies by other members here, I'm now doubting my experience was both events, rather than just one.
Thank you for the reply! :)Someone else must have brought up the bit about Jesus breathing on the disciples, saying "Receive the Holy Spirit."
But it is a worthy point to discuss. (unless I don't remember) Obviously, they had the Spirit (indwelling) prior to the outpouring at Pentecost.
Jesus asked them to wait in Jerusalem for the Baptism with the Holy Spirit.
So, the indwelling and the Baptism are two separate things, SINCE WE CAN SEPARATE THEM,
but they MAY occur simultaneously as we see happening in some cases.
Furthermore, the two can be tested separately to see if both have happened.
The indwelling will produce fruit unto righteousness (the fruit of the Spirit),
and the Baptism with the Spirit will be evident in manifestations of the Spirit.
(see the list of spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians chapter twelve)

Usually.Are you causing trouble.
Not before? The Holy Spirit indwells his child, after Baptism...
I got that wrong..therefore deleted my original post. Not before?
Some Christians are not baptized for years after their conversion.
Were they NOT indwelt that whole time?

My troll is better than your troll...haha..LOL...
Brother, I can only speak of my own baptism in the Holy Spirit. Not before?
Some Christians are not baptized for years after their conversion.

Here's my view, if it helps.I got that wrong..therefore deleted my original post.
It’s hard to explain....I believe the indwelling happens at the same time we are being baptised..
As he indwells us, he testifies with our spirit that we are children of God..he speaks to our spirit as his Holy Spirit baptises us.
Yes. It clearly is.My troll is better than your troll...haha..LOL...
