Hi there,

So I just wanted to share a simple thought: learning how the new body works, is a "thing". As a "thing" we can either do it well, or not. What governs how well we do it, is how well we develop in relation to our "new" faith, on Earth. If we neglect faith on Earth, how will we be guided in relation to a new body in Heaven? Therefore, those who meditate and receive scripture in this life, will be much better equipped to learn how their new body works, in Heaven. We are promised a new body, in the letters (from memory) - but how many make a pattern of learning how that new body will work? By exercising faith in this life?

Part of learning is strengthened by how we exercise, and how we exercise is governed by how we hear, but even sounds will be different to us, in the new body. Really what strengthens us the most, is how we encounter Jesus - Jesus said "to do it for Me, you have to do it for those that need it" (Gospels, from memory). Encountering Jesus strengthens our character, which in turn strengthens everything else - including hearing. In other words, we are more able to do what we do, when we do it for the Lord - that holds true now, and will hold true when we are in our heavenly bodies. That is to say, that character will help us learn how to use our heavenly bodies, in the next life.

Jesus showed us the way to this self-control, by sacrificing Himself on the Cross. The Cross, in this example, refers to the struggle of reaching from Earth to a Heavenly Door, through which we can enter our new Heavenly body. By leaving the world behind, we can enter our Heavenly body more fully. It is important that we do not draw back, but that we enter our new Heavenly body, with gusto! The more we commit to learning how to use our new Heavenly body, the more we will be able to do, for the Lord whom we will serve, forever. There is power in this, because we will be able to share it, too - other people who have learnt how to use their Heavenly bodies, will be able to help us with ours!

It's like going to Church (learning how to use our Heavenly body). You don't know what Church will be like until you go, and when you go you have to commit to getting their before the service starts; then, once you are their you learn about what is in that Heavenly place; knowing what's there you mingle with other people who have also come. This is all an image of what Heaven will be like! We will be instructed and prompted and from this our spiritual life will grow and develop. The better we develop the more fruit we will gain; the more fruit we gain, the more we will bless God.

I hope this has been of some encouragment.

God bless.
