It already is a wild free-for-all and a backward hellhole.
And the reason it got to this place is because of what you are promoting in all of your comments -- legalize and normalize abortion early in the pregnancy and pretend that it's okay to murder living human persons at a certain point in their lives.
You have been saying that that is what needs to be done but that was already done and because that was done we are now at the point of abortion on demand for any reason.
This is why it has to be illegal to murder living human persons in the womb from the very start of the pregnancy/conception.
And technically it's not a religious thing first and foremost but rather it's a human rights issue.
Science and biology have proven that human life begins at conception.
It is simply not okay to stop a human life no matter how new it is.

Just because SOME people may CHOOSE to do something illegal and evil does not mean it should be made legal.

I have interacted with plenty of people from Australia in Facebook Land and it never would have occurred to them to use such hateful, disgusting, close-minded, intolerant language such as retard and spastic to refer to living human persons created in God's image nor would they call someone hateful, insulting, disgusting, close-minded, intolerant names like a moron, socialist or a communist because the person isn't stuck in the Dark Ages but rather is kind and loving the way Jesus says we're supposed to be.
Can you really imagine the Lord calling people morons, retards, and spastics or approving of that?
It used to be 'cultural normative' for men to beat and rape their wives and it wasn't even illegal in Massachusetts until 1990.

I agree with you to a certain extent.
Unfortunately with humans when given an inch they take a mile.
It started with only first term abortions being legal.
And BECAUSE first term abortions were legal it became possible to have second term ones.
And then because second term ones were legal it became possible to have third term ones.
And then because third term ones were legal it became possible to have partial birth abortions.
And now you have babies being born instead of dying during the abortion process and instead of helping them they just leave them lying there on the table to die a horrible tragic death.
It's highly unlikely that that won't happen again if the states take individual votes (or other countries and other divisions of other countries do the same).

That is why there needs to be a systemic approach.
We need to educate women and girls that what is inside their wombs is a separate living human person that has the right for life irrespective of whether abortion is legal.
We need to make all the systemic changes I mentioned in a previous comment.
All the different factors that are conspiring to make women think that they can't have their children need to be rendered obsolete.

Roe v Wade was able to be passed because while the pro-abortion contingent was tirelessly working away we were asleep (we meaning pro-life).
So when I say 'we need to educate women and girls' I mean people who know the truth and care about them.
I don't want to prevent abortions because I hate women and girls and I want to take away their rights as some people falsely accuse us.

Not just the USA but planet wide systemic change needs to happen.
Thankfully many Believers are finally stepping up to the plate and doing what the L-rd mandated we do.
In the Scriptures it says, "pure and true religion is this to help the widow and the orphan".
There are over 5,000 Pregnancy Resource Centers or Pregnancy Crisis Centers in the United States alone and the overwhelming majority of them are run by not just religious people but Christian religious people.
These places help women, girls, men, and boys with unplanned pregnancies have access to all the things they don't have usually for free that is making them think abortion is the choice to have to make.
