It's a tough one . . . I've just had to accept what it says. But then I realized the context was Jesus commissioning them as He Himself had been commissioned. It's still a tough one, but that at least makes more sense to me.

See what followed that if , IF the sinner repented and believes the gospel , believes Jesus is the Christ .
SO how come so many today are giving the impression that other religoins
somehow serve the same GOD we do . Because IF JESUS told even the unbelieving jews
you will die in your sins if you believe not that i am HE , the CHRIST .
How come muslims and other religions today are getting a pass .
WHEN even the jews who were GODS own chosen HE had called , NOT GIVEN such a pass .
THEY TOO had to BELIEVE JESUS was the CHRIST .
WHY are todays religoins getting a pass , I will tell us why
cause a false goodness of GOD through means of false love that has come of the world
HAS taken this generation captive to an all inclusive lie . THATS WHY .
and worse i see me lots of people who seem to love this lie .
WE do know what happens to those who loved and make a lie ...........right .
SO why are folks heeding these leaders who say come together with other religoins
lets pray for a common cause , or find common ground .
Would you , me or any of us
try and find common ground with satan , with a satanist .
would we gather with satanists link hands and all pray together for world peace
or would we try and just find common ground with such and do good works .
I TROW NOT . what common ground is there with an unbeliever and believer
with Satan and Christ , NONE .
We are rather to witness to them and pray for them . Not with them , FOR THEM
cause they do not pray to the same GOD we do . So lets not buy the lie .

Maybe relook at the passage? Other places teach us about correction in the church. However, this passage is blanket authority to forgive and retain "whose soevers" sins.

Jesus said this directly after He told them that same as He was sent, He is sending them. Jesus was clear, "so you know the Son of Man has authority to forgive sins . . . and He said to the man, take up your bed and walk". Now He sends them, and gives them the same authority.

Dont think for five seconds that i follow or believe the pattern the RCC set concerning such a thing .
The retain remit is about Church correction .
Did you know that we are not to even fellowship with a believer who is in error and repents not of said error .
JESUS said something i think most seem to miss these days .
IF your brother trespass against you and REPENT , ye shall forgive him .
TAKE NOTE that says REPENT . If said person do not repent , YOU then take witnesses and etc .
If they refuse to repent , they cast out .
TODAYS version of forgiveness is not the biblical version .
NOW i know we dont hold a grudge or animosity , we are doing it for a reason .
WE desire good for the one in error and the one in error THUS NEEDS to repent .
But todays version of forgivness seems to imply
it dont matter how one is living , and if they are in error and wont correct or do right the wrong
JUST overlook it . NO . true judgment would correct the one in error
and if the one in error had done wrong , he would make right what he did wrong to his neighbor .
Now of course if i see someone is sorrowful for the wrong they did to me
say they stole five hundred dollars . IF i saw THEY were truly sorrowful , repentance
I would wipe their debt clean . BUT if one is not sorrowful for the wrong
THEY need to be kept out , if they try and justify the wrong or sin , THEY NEED to be kept out
and have no fellowship till they do repent .
Because i know how leaven works my friend . WHEN leaven is allowed to remain and is not corrected
ITS BRINGS BUDDIES right into that church , aka MORE LEAVEN .

the remit and retain is about Church correction .
if one sins , and repents not they are not to have fellowship ,
if they do repent they are forgiven and restored back to fellowship .
As JESUS said if your brother sins against you and REPENTS , FORGIVE THEM
if not , take witnesses and etc , and etc and if they still do not hear you
let them be as a pagan unto you . AKA no fellowship with such a one , till such a one repents .
That is how simple it is .
Yet many have long used this in a wrong sense .
THEY come to the preacher the preachers says Okay my Son , do five hail marys and etc
i absolve thee etc . But you already know this lamb dont heed what i call the BIG R
and the DOUBLE C .

I repeat all unbelievers in CHRIST JESUS are under the power of satan .
There is only one way to set the captives free . Only one name we must preach
and remind all of the dire need to repent and believe on Him the CHRIST . THAT BE JESUS .
And if folks find that hard to beleive
then read the bible . read acts , read the letters paul wrote ,
read what john wrote . Look at and examine who is a liar , who is an anti christ .
LOOK and be reminded about WHO calls GOD A LIAR .
THE other religoins and even unbelieving jews are actually REJECTING GOD . that is A FACT .

yet today pope francis and scores of others seem to imply that other religoins do have the LOVE OF GOD .
If you LOVED GOD you would have BELIEVED ME for i came forth of HIM .
DO NOT let this generation FOOL YA about what THE LOVE OF GOD IS or WHOM IT POINTS TOO .
Read those bibles and learn well . for many decievers fleece the flocks and have pumped
a love that has come of darkness and of the world under the guise it has come of GOD .
BUT IT HAS NOT COME OF GOD . it denies the dire need to repent and to believe JESUS IS THE CHRIST
and focuses On only a version of love your neighbor and doing good .
NOW i say only a version of love your neighbor because its actually NOT LOVING our neighbor at all .
YE shall not hate your neighbor in your heart , you shall in any way rebuke and correct them
and NOT ALLOW sin upon them . UNBELIEF IS SIN , just as is sins are still sin .
BUT I see me a lot of sins being accepted now , and even the SIN OF UNBELIEF IS OKAY with this generations version of
what it thinks is love and is of GOD . WE are IN DIRE trouble and its time to make our stand now
and contend for the true faith and all biblical sound doctrine to be reminded .

This reminder that i shall type next is not an accusation against you or any , BUT DO TAKE HEED TO IT .
We better make darn sure its THE LEG of the LORD we grab a hold of and not rather
this other daddys legs who seems to be dragging the church right to perdition .
That is a FACT mark . many are grabbing ahold of the leg of the wrong daddy pardner .
And that daddy , that pappy , GONNA LEAD THEM TO PERIDTION and sing songs about a love

NOW MARCH ONWARD in the GLORIOUS LORD . to the trenches its all out war in these last hours upon earth .

THUS we take no time off to point to CHRIST , to all sound biblical doctrine , to prayer , to exhortation
To correction and all things inspired and instructed by THE LORD .
This war has led souls captive to a lie that merges them all to unite as one under what

THEY LOVED A LIE , THEY HAD NOT CHARITY which REJOICES ONLY IN THE TRUTH .
SO it will not profit them . NOT one BIT .

and the jesus or god they chose to follow and believe on , was a LIAR .

paul warned well about another jesus and another gospel . AND man we would be wise to know that .
How often THE NAME of GOD did the jews use , but it was lip only the heart was far from him .
HOW often the name of JESUS be used as well , But it was lip only the heart was far from him .
We better watch out . examine ourselves daily and by all means remember CORRECTION of sins and errors IS NOT SIN

and they are in dire grave danger .
And truly its no laughing matter . ITS a serious one .
As i am sure you would agree my friend .
HOW is one gonna know if their version of JESUS of GOD is accurate
OR is it another version , another image of GOD being presented .
WHY do the people perish .
LACK OF KNOWLEDGE . many are running to a genie that has popped outta the box
and that genie will contradict what is written in scripture . ITS quite wise my friend in the ways of the world .
And it knows how to seduce and to decieve and does so through the flesh of man .
OH its a liar but it does all to make it sound as though it has what is best for you in mind .
But what it says is best for you , WILL cause UNBELIEF of something GOD , CHRIST said .

AND WHO YA THINK would do such a thing . exactly johann . the father of lies
