Late Night Thread...

@Taken ... My landlords own an Ibizan Hound... they had two but one died this summer...
Anyways... when they take the dog for it's morning and evening walk... they have two leashes on his collar.... This has started since one of the dogs died. It's the funniest thing to see... two people walking ONE DOG... the reason being.... in the morning.... the squirrels... and in the evening... the skunks... LOL

Had not heard of that name of breed....did a quick look. Fine looking animal, yep hunter instincts and rather lean.
Our dog is someone elses abandonment in the woods. From what I know about doggie language, he asked us to adopt him, so we did, and a good choice.

I had never heard of this breed either when I first moved here.... they are related to the grey hound I think... they are light on their feet... they prance like deer.

I looked at photos first. They looked large, and I thought like a greyhound, then read about their size and thought more like a whippet...all having that lean look.
Our dog is some part pitbull..looks like a pitbull...sort of...no cropped ears or tail...and not mean. We guessed his age about 1 when we got him fours years ago. Likes a structured routine...like...it's my nap time, and I don't have thumbs...could you please open the door....lol

Found one of these the other day... a circular little piece of moss.... It's a moss button.... the cutest little thing... I named it Bug... in honour of TRUMAN.... LOL

Haha.... yeah maybe a whippet is a more accurate description... I am not familiar with the larger dog breeds. I am a miniature dachshund gal... all snout... I always say... It's all about the snout.

Cool. I had planted some moss between a flag stone walk way, but was in too much direct hot sun for too long of hours...it didn't last.
