It's cool here in the Pacific Northwest USA. We've had some really nice weather lately. The rest of the country is under heat advisories.Sitting outside at 12.45am having my first break. Lovely and cool. Enjoying the night air :)
All we seem to be getting is a lot of rain and storms but it is light drizzle tonight. :)It's cool here in the Pacific Northwest USA. We've had some really nice weather lately. The rest of the country is under heat advisories.
My sister lives in an assisted living home. Same stuff there. But I imagine in your unit things are a little different as they have dementia.Crazy night tonight. I have 2 residents up fighting with each other. One says that the other lady is mad and should be in a home and asking her to leave her house immediately or she will call the police :) Just another night in the D unit![]()
And there's really no limit to how long people can go on arguing. I tend to stay out of the arguments as they are not uplifting in anyway. I'll speak my mind and debate for a post or two, but usually that's about it.Some of the arguments in here remind me of a meeting I attended at my previous job. The Project Manager, Marketing Manager, and the Manufacturing Engineer disliked each other so intensely that they had a heated 20-minute argument over a point in which they were already in agreement.
And then there was the time I got into an argument with the Marketing lady right at the end of a meeting. When we had to break up the meeting at 11:00, she wanted to continue the argument, following me down the hall and into the Men's Room, yapping into my left ear about whatever it was we were arguing about while I'm standing at the urinal unzipping my fly. (She did finally realize where she was.)
@devin553344 Arguing can be circular..........If the point is not Biblical challenge and edification, then words often lose their significance....And there's really no limit to how long people can go on arguing. Getting my coffee and working on my projects today, I'll check in here on and off.
People have beliefs that are firm here. There's really no point in arguing with most people. Some people are open to learning a new way, but it's rare I think.@devin553344 Arguing can be circular..........If the point is not Biblical challenge and edification, then words often lose their significance....

I took another vitamin D pill and it made me a little dizzy and now I'm having a little trouble breathing. The last one I took made me sick. But I'm supposed to take one a week for 8 weeks. I'll be glad when I'm done with them.
How is your day going farouk?
