Can God give someone a message to deliver to someone else? Absolutely! Does God reveal truth to someone in a supernatural way and enable that person to deliver that message to others? Absolutely! But is this the biblical gift of prophecy? No.
What gift is it ? It is a Gift from God/Holy Spirit , right ?

America is being filled with people who are consuming the goodness out of the land and the collective sin that they have committed with their silent assent/agreement.
Just wondering , how is the consuming going there in the Australia ? :cuttreex1

What are you really asking with the :cuttreex1 smiley?

How is the consuming going there in Australia? Pretty much like it is going in the USA. The goodness of the land is being rapidly consumed.

the completed revelation from God in the Bible?

Except we don't have completed revelation. There is more revelation in scripture which has never been found.

He left something else in it for you to find...but you scoff at the idea. Huh. Wont even look for it. Wont even come out of the box.

He doesn't really give any prophecies of his own in the video (Lol). What he does do is take current events and tie them to scripture and prophecies in the bible.
And that is where people confuse the work he is doing.
I think in general Christians misinterpret the " gift of prophecy". Even well known scholars say the spiritual gifts have ceased in the 1st century - AS IF GOD'S WORK WAS FINISHED.

The gift of prophecy is a spiritual gift that allows a person to speak God's Word to people. It is one of nine spiritual gifts mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12.
The Greek word translated “prophesying” or “prophecy” means to “speak forth” or declare the divine will, to interpret the purposes of God, or to make known in any way the truth of God which is designed to influence people. This gift is not focused on future events, predictions per se, but future things may be part of the message to individuals or groups; however it is not a new, " thus sayeth the Lord" scripture to be added to the Bible. The Bible scriptures and prophecies were finished with John's Book, Revelation.
God communicates to us in several ways, directly and indirectly, speaking to us directly and personally ( as He dwells in our Temple); but also through others.
We receive this act of communication empowered by the Holy Spirit, through people at specific times for God's purposes: to witness, minister, love, help, guide, teach, etc.
These prophetic utterances may be calls to repent, warnings to people or rebukes. We also encourage one another in times of need by saying exactly what they need to hear. How do we know exactly what a person needs in their walk? We don't, so God speaks through us, brings a verse to our remembrance that is pertinent to their needs or words of encouragement or warnings.

Whatever the case, whenever a person claims to be speaking for God (the essence of prophecy) the key is to compare what is said with what the Bible says.

You should already know what the bible has to say about it. You've had plenty of time to prepare and study. So your statement is wrong for you are to look at the fruit of their words You will know them their fruits. Plain and simple. Taste the fruit...is it bitter, corrupt, filled with rancor, criticism, accusation and anger?
Or is it sweet? Peaceable, gentle, kind, peaceful and leading to a deeper relationship with the Lord? Which always bears the fruit of increased righteousness, cutting off of sin, repentance and a new resolution to live the life that the Lord has appointed to us. Those are the evidences that you will see in someone's words that make it clear that what is being taught is from the Lord. It's just discernment. A good tree can not bear bad fruit so taste the fruit. We all should know these things by now.

Take that girl that don't like me for example. She said God hasn't told her that Jonathan Cahn is a real prophet...i.e., so he isn't. But she has never even heard the man speak before. She dislikes me vehemently and has shown me much anger and rancor. And not just me but others as well. So there is your bad fruit and so I know that what she says does not come from the Lord. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but I'm trying to make a point. I think discernment sort of comes naturally to me after I had that police training along with all sorts of reading body language, interrogation techniques and all that jazz, so even tho I didn't let them (ever) swear me in as a cop, the training stuck and all the same principles work on the internet just as good as in person. God never told me that she has revelation about Prophets. So I guess we're even, lol. The Lord did say one time when I had asked Him to give me better discernment....if you want to practice your discernment then all you have to do is to look for me within other people. I didn't know what it meant at first until I read Ephesians 6 again where it says we dont fight with people but with the evil spirit demons which are tormenting those people into being troublemakers. She must be under a huge amount of demonic oppression, and she is not the enemy, but one who needs prayer and help. That got to me to praying for her. And now I know what Jesus meant by that.

But discernment is not something you get magically just by praying for it. Oh you can pray for it, but you still have to participate! No wonder the scripture says read the scriptures daily and study to show thyself approved...and, pray without ceasing.

You can't let doubters make you doubt too. And you shouldn't judge people even when people lie to you they still show you their truth if you can discern it. And a young man like you shouldn't walk with undertones of anger Brother. It lacks class and it lacks honor. Besides what I said above.

Are there true prophets today? If the purpose of a prophet was to reveal truth from God, why would we need prophets

That's a fair question and the answer is, we do not need prophets because of what Jesus did on the cross that tore down the veil separating us from Him.

But you can't be stuck up about it. Like well, God didn't reveal that to me so it aint true. It can't be about winning it has to be about getting to the truth.

And yet...Prophets do still exist. Huh. I guess God is smart enough to have work for them too!

Not sure what the intention of the writer is.

The spiritual gift of prophecy is listed among the gifts of the Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12:10 and Romans 12:6. The Greek word translated “prophesying” or “prophecy” in both passages properly means to “speak forth” or declare the divine will, to interpret the purposes of God, or to make known in any way the truth of God which is designed to influence people. Many people misunderstand the gift of prophecy to be the ability to predict the future. While knowing something about the future may sometimes have been an aspect of the gift of prophecy, it was primarily a gift of proclamation (“forth-telling”), not prediction (“fore-telling”).

A pastor/preacher who declares the Bible can be considered a “prophesier” in that he is speaking forth the counsel of God. With the completion of the New Testament canon, prophesying changed from declaring new revelation to declaring the completed revelation God has already given. Jude 3 speaks of “the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (emphasis added). In other words, the faith to which we hold has been settled forever, and it does not need the addition or refinement that comes from extra-biblical revelations.

Also, note the transition from prophet to teacher in 2 Peter 2:1: “There were false prophets among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you” (emphasis added). Peter indicates that the Old Testament age had prophets, whereas the church will have teachers. The spiritual gift of prophecy, in the sense of receiving new revelations from God to be proclaimed to others, ceased with the completion of the Bible. During the time that prophecy was a revelatory gift, it was to be used for the edification, exhortation, and comfort of men (1 Corinthians 14:3). The modern gift of prophecy, which is really more akin to teaching, still declares the truth of God. What has changed is that the truth of God today has already been fully revealed in His Word, while, in the early church, it had not yet been fully revealed.

Christians are to be very wary of those who claim to have a “new” message from God. It is one thing to say, “I had an interesting dream last night.” However, it is quite another matter to say, “God gave me a dream last night, and you must obey it.” No utterance of man should be considered equal to or above the written Word. We must hold to the Word that God has already given and commit ourselves to sola scriptura—Scripture alone.

What is the box you speak of?

Jonathan Con is not a prophet.

Question for you, why does anyone need extra biblical teachings (prophesy).

The Bible is not sufficient?

You do know about the gifts of the Holy Spirit ?

What you are talking about in the quote above is the gift of word of knowledge . It is a biblical gift .

1 Corinthians 12:8 Context

5And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

Ahh ! Is there a hidden meaning in my smiley placement :contemplate: . Cutting down a tree would be consuming God's bounty from the earth .

That all depends on which tree you are referring to that has already been cut down. Is it not a shame before God to leave a man hang upon a tree when the sun has gone down.

I could name names, but I wont. Go find your own prophets if you want to.

I know about them. I don't name prophets on boards because of people like you who only want to argue and put them down.

I don't know how God uses His prophets why don't you go ask HIm?

That is because you do not know a real prophet.

I know about them. I don't name prophets on boards because of people like you who only want to argue and put them down.
Because you do not know any.

I don't know how God uses His prophets why don't you go ask HIm?

He does not use prophets today.

The Lord gave us the completed written word, we need nothing more.
