Just say it! He saw Jesus day by faith alone....and Jesus was taught by faith which is why Christ could say before Abraham was I am. In other words his per-eminence was taught prior to Abraham...he was a son of promise not literally alive back then! Impossible for Jesus to be a son of promise while being eternal. The animal slain and coats provided speaks to John 1:29 - the son Eve longed for was "the seed" of the woman! (Genesis 4:1) Jesus wasn't given life until the HS caused conception in Mary.John 8:56 refers to Genesis 22:13-15 the Akedah. Abraham saw the parallel between what he was asked to do and what God would do when he sacrificed his Son.
You admit to interpreting Jesus' words in verse 56 as being faith and then force non biblical notions on verse 58
It's clear for all to see the agenda in doing so.
