Fine. Will the Textus Receptus do?

No. I gave no indication I Greek speak. All of my posts have been in English.

An English Biblical text is sufficient.

[QUOTE} I ask again, what do you say Paul meant in declaring that he "emptied himself" (ἑαυτὸν ἐκένωσεν)? Of what?[/QUOTE]

What do you mean you ask me AGAIN?
Why are you asking me to define what you said?
If those words are in your Biblical Scripture, so be it. Quote it.
You speak for yourself what that means to you.

Very Good you did your research... yes I said that he did not say emptied... so now that you have corrected me on that one...

Whose will did God Himself, since Jesus emptied himself of his divinity and deity, come down from heaven to do, if not his own?

This is getting tedious. Again, God Himself, who in His second person (the Son) came down from heaven, did so to implement the will of God. That was his purpose. To do God's will. A will he participated in -- what you seem to like to call "his own" will, which is fine, I'm happy to use the singular pronoun here -- when acting a moment before t(I), when he was fully part of the triune Godhead. A will he carried out after t(I) while in the flesh and not fully part of the triune Godhead (again, see 2 Phillipians 2:6-8).

Quote Scripture of God Himself saying what you claim, wait and see if I disagree with Scripture.

I already did you just choose to ignore it.. twice as a matter of fact.. Just goes to show that you are not reading comments...

Thank you ... finally a straight answer..

Whose will did God Himself come down from heaven to do, if not his own???...

Jesus, God's word, said "For I have come down from heaven not to do mine own will but the will of him that sent me."

now as you have said God's word is God Himself..

So, by your statement that Jesus is God Himself, you are stating, by your belief that Jesus is God's word and God Himself, that God lied...

Quote Scripture of God Himself saying what you claim, wait and see if I disagree with Scripture.

are you wanting book, chapter and verse quoted?? or will the verse itself suffice??

I am not a mind reader. Not interested in you rewording Scripture into what you think it means. Same as not interested in you rewording my words into what you think I mean.

Proper Scripture Quote...
Gen 1: [1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Proper Scripture Reference...
Gen 1:1

First of all... John 6:38 "For I have come down from heaven not to do mine own will but the will of him that sent me."

That just means that you do not get your knowledge from God is all... nothing wrong with that..

With me, the verse pops into my head and then I check it in the Bible...

And for your information I did not twist your words..

@True Faith

What does TTC stand for in your avatar?
It is just something placed there to get people curious... it actually doesn't mean anything.. the letters looked good so now I am working on a good meaning for them...

Since you are not a Theologian you would never understand.

@True Faith

What does TTC stand for in your avatar?

My Uncle, who is a retired Theology Professor, once made the comment "You're quite the theologian." So I asked him one day," What did you mean when you said I was Quite the theologian?".. He told me that in all his years of teaching the Trinity Doctrine, that no one ever once asked him the question I did.

He argued with me, saying exactly the same stuff you keep saying almost word for word, until he got out his Bible and started reading...

He never thanked me because he know that it was not me who asked the question but, it was God asking the question through me...

Finally you properly quoted a Scripture.

That means no such thing.

I am wise enough to know every person does not use the same Bible.

Well then, which Bible are you using??? Let me see if I have it here in my collection.. I have around 45 different translations so I am pretty sure I have the one you have...

Your claim —->

Do you think God asking questions through you, identifies you as a “theologian”?

What qualifies me as a theologian is that I actually read the Bible in all the various translations along with Greek...

LOL...got it...your idea of a “theologian” means making up random letters with no meaning.
The orginal was "Truth Takes Charge" but I scrapped that one sounded too aggressive... but hey it's not about the avatar, that is just there so you will have something to make fun of and such... Satan loves to do personal attacks instead of actually addressing the lies he has told...

Oh good grief, get a grip. I asked a simple question. You answered, it means nothing. Then you go off on a tangent of making fun and such, which didn’t occur, and then comparing that to Satan and lies...

Gaslighter!
if you would stop telling lies I will stop pointing them out.

@Taken I tell you what, here is what we will do..

You have said that God himself was His Word and I asked you what the name of His word was and you said Jesus.
If the following is not true then explain what you mean please, and yes you actually have to explain you are bound by scripture.

Since you claim that God Himself was His word and His word and the name of His Word is Jesus. Remember God Himself is His word and the name for His word is Jesus.

John 6:38 "For I have come down from heaven not to do mine own will but the will of him that sent me."

Did God Himself speak those words?

You have certainly accused, but have failed to prove your accusations are true.

That simply make you an accuser with zero merit.
and yet you know for a fact that I have established my accusations, you just choose to not own up to your lies..

John 6:
[35] And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
[36] But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
[37] All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
[38] For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Not a mystery.
Whose will did God Himself come down from heaven to do, if not his own?

you haven't answered the question...
