Is "Justification" (being declared righteous by God) co-terminus with "salvation"?

I'm going to bite--

The relationship between justification and salvation is a significant theological topic, and while they are closely related, they are not entirely co-terminous.

Justification
In Christian theology, justification is the act by which God declares a sinner to be righteous on the basis of faith in Christ (Romans 3:28). It is often seen as a legal or forensic act of God where the sinner, through faith, is declared righteous before God. The Greek term used in the New Testament for "justification" is δικαίωσις (dikaiōsis), meaning "the act of pronouncing righteous."

Paul explains justification clearly in Romans 5:1: "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Here, justification occurs at the moment of faith—God pardons the sinner, imputing the righteousness of Christ.

Salvation
Salvation, on the other hand, is a broader term encompassing the entire process by which a person is saved from sin and its consequences, including justification, sanctification, and glorification. Salvation refers not only to being declared righteous but also to being rescued from sin and ultimately brought into eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8 clarifies that salvation is by grace through faith, emphasizing the gift of God in the totality of being saved.
Philippians 2:12-13 indicates the ongoing process, "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling," showing that while we are justified at a moment in time, the process of salvation continues through sanctification.

Are They Co-Terminus?
Justification is part of the broader process of salvation but is not the entirety of salvation. While justification happens at a specific point—when a believer is declared righteous by faith—salvation is a dynamic process that includes justification but also sanctification (the gradual process of being made holy) and glorification (the final state of being with God).

To put it simply:

Justification is instantaneous and happens once for all when a person believes (Romans 3:24).
Salvation is a process that begins with justification, continues with sanctification, and culminates in glorification (Romans 8:30).

I couldn't agree with you more Amigo.
We have a member on here that believes anything is biblical because a couple of verses are taken out of the scriptures.
It's a scary thing to behold.
Does Christianity have no rules or regulations?
We can each decide what Christianity is for our own selves with no regard to what Jesus or Paul or the others wanted to teach?
What can the future bring if we're not cohesive in our belief system and cannot even agree amongst ourselves?
In another post I said that Jews all believe the same; Muslims all believe the same; do Christians all believe the same?

THEN one by one each would answer .
NOW as each one did , you would hear very good ,
as the next one answered you would hear the same thing , and things like oh that is so good i NEVER saw it that way .
What you were witenessing was the opinion being validated and honored .
NOT THE TRUTH . because i watched such a thing occur .
And not only had some of then answered dead wrong , they even contradicted each others own answers .
SO HOW ON EARTH could they all have been right . BUT IT WAS MADE TO LOOK like they were , AS though
their opinoin mattered . THIS IS WHY WE SEE what we do today . that was over twenty five years ago

when even their own answsers contradicted antoher ones answer .

a false gospel . SO what do you THINK gets priority , the topic , OR the false gospel i am about TO EXPOSE .
GOD LEADS ME my friend . man does not . I am at war and have been with this false lovey do gospel for years
and when i see it , i am gonna expose the monster lie for what it is .
HOWEVER since you did ask me a a question concerning the reformed faith .
Allow me to answer . I have no idea what its about . SO i suppose i have no answer .
I have come to preach that which very few now preach . JESUS CHRIST and HIM CRUCIFIED .
Most folks always talk about a mission field and how we need to got to this group or that group
to preach JESUS .
I SAY CHRISTENDOM IS ONE RIPE FIELD to be EVANGELIZED TOO , cause it sure seems to ME MOST either never knew

hey johann what is the fastest way to learn what is conterfiet .
if we were trying to learn how to identify counterfeit dollar bills .
WHAT IS the BEST way to do so .
IS IT TO GO around and try and learn the pattern of every counterifiet bill , which , by the way can change and does change .
OR SHOULD WE SIMPLY have memorized the TRUE and then when there was even the slightest alteration

I know a lot of Christians that don't know about the reformed/calvinist faith.
Maybe I became interested to learn about it because I couldn't believe my initial encounter with these doctrine
and how out of touch they were with everything I knew.
So it took years of reading and digesting stuff way before there was internet....
But the internet did make it easier... listening to persons that left Christianity altogether because they
came to believe that a God like the reformed teach could not really exist...
Or many that left Calvinism and entered into the Catholic or Protestant churches....
all of which teach something or other that is not found in scripture - but at least they don't change the character of God.
So, I don't know if many are willing to put in the time that it takes to understand this belief system...

Who is "conforming?" Many are martyrs for a wrong cause.
