Man is appointed to die and then comes the judgment. The judgment is immediate, right? If so, does it make sense that they would then be judged again at the White Throne? Is it possible or even likely that the Great White Throne judgment is a celebration wherein Jesus announces that death is destroyed and then Jesus gives his church (all of mankind) to God?

There's different 'types' of judgments in God's Word.

The Great White Throne Judgment at the end of Christ's future "thousand years" reign is for the unsaved nations that go through His "thousand years" reign with His elect. It will determine who among those will go into the "lake of fire" and suffer the "second death".

The judgment prior to that though is on the day of Jesus' future return, when He will separate His servants from the unsaved (see John 5:28-29 also).

The above must be read in light of Hebrews 9:27-28!!!

Those whose names are not found in the Book of Life certainly won't be celebrating... so it's going to be a 'no' from me.
