Well if you ever run across one Byrd, let me know, I am definitely interested. I haven't been able to either. That tells me that with so many trying to remove it, why are they unable to?
you are not interested at all RG, and im not sure why you keep saying you are? Have you found a single “Jehovah” in Greek or Hebrew? No, you have not; yet you seem convinced that that is all you can find. And i am not really inclined to keep speaking at odds here tbh, if thats what you want to believe, then believe that, and understand that that will also define you

..do you believe saved and salvation is the same thing, and if you do or don't, may I ask you to define it/them? Just to see if we both agree what it is.

Not sure I understand your question mate, as saved and salvation surely mean the same thing.
Those who are worthy of being saved go up here-

We are speaking about English versions Byrd, the one you said didn't have it was an English version. I know the Greek Septuagint of Jesus' day had it, but of course I don't have one to prove it. Show me a Hebrew or Greek version that don't have it then Byrd, I will listen.

when we die we are acquitted of sin,

Reader,

The born again, are eternally "acquitted of sin", by the DEATH of JESUS..... 2000 yrs ago.
There is your Salvation given, found, and maintained.
Its a GIFT.

"The GIFT of Salvation"

This Gift is JESUS.
Jesus is your Salvation.

If you still have your sin, you are not acquitted, you are not born again, = you are judged.
If Jesus has your sin, then you are become "the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD", 'In Christ".
There is NO SIN FOUND "in CHRIST"< and all the born again exist....."IN Christ".

This is why the NT teaches the born again, that :

"As Christ IS.... so ARE the born again, in THIS world".

= Not just after death, but RIGHT NOW while you are breathing, if you are born again, and not just some water baptized religious faker who is wasting time on the forum, trying to deceive real believers, by pretending that you have a theological clue.

ah well i see the disconnect now, guess its my fault; the one i said “didnt have it” was a link to the Greek lexicon, and i pay no attention whatsoever to the english writing in the link

Show me a Hebrew or Greek version that don't have it then Byrd, I will listen.
so, if you click on the link you might see what i mean
but really again “Jehovah” is another acceptable Name as far as im concerned, tbh
Psalm 68:10 Lexicon: Your creatures settled in it; You provided in Your goodness for the poor, O God.

I know you have been taught that Drop, I was too at one time. You have prayed for God's Kingdom to come, where did you expect it to come to when you asked Him to send it sir?

Just like all Christians Be, born again ones have to remain faithful until death to be acquitted of sin. God grants them immortality upon their resurrection. Not a big point, but we need not think that because someone is born again, that guarantees their salvation, because several have failed. The only bad thing is they cannot be redeemed once they turn away from God. As I understand it, they sin against the holy spirit if they commit a serious sin, since they are anointed by holy spirit. I could very well be in error on this however, as I am not too well read on this topic. The Bible is vague about it. I really don't understand why they are granted immortality.

What?
It seems clear enough to me, the Bible teaches us that nice people go up there, and nasty people go down there..:)

Went back through several pages Byrd, you gave no link that I see sir, You did quote a verse from the NASB version, which did have God's name in it as I showed you. If you do come up with one I would be interested, as I believe He has not allowed any version to completely remove it. I could very well be in error, but I certainly haven't found one yet.

Were you aware that everyone who dies goes to hell as did Jesus Drop?

That's just some people's interpretation..:)
The only people who go to hell are rotters, they had their chance to be nice people when they were alive but blew it, so it's 'game over' for them because God and Jesus have washed their hands of them and it serves 'em right..:)

you can certainly believe that if you like RG, but "Jehovah" was a Name invented like a thousand years after the NT was written, by the Masoretes, who were just still touchy about "pronouncing the Name of God," mostly bc they misunderstood the whole point of the unpronounceability of AEOU, like you did earlier.

Now as to why "Yahweh" didnt suit them--nor your elders--i dont know, my guess would be prolly wanting to distance themselves from Jews maybe? So wadr you are "showing me" stuff that i discovered was false about 30 years ago, and you will eventually discover too, if you keep seeking. You are currently operating under a false paradigm, if i may, that of "YHWH never allowed the complete removal of the Name "Jehovah," when "Jehovah" was an invention of scribes after the fact anyway, thus making your seeking there moot, wadr

im not in love with the way that comes across, so sorry about that, but there it is

that's bc you are limiting yourself to english i guess--although i dont think the Berean uses "Jehovah" at all, and neither does the NASB? It ("Elohim") is rendered "God" there, so i dont know what youre looking at tbh
in fact, here's the thirty most pop versions, no Jehovah in sight?

What?
It seems clear enough to me, the Bible teaches us that nice people go up there, and nasty people go down there..:)
How many are redeemed from the earth sir? Why were they selected to reside in heaven? Answer those and you will have the answer. Mat 5:5

Simply what the Bible teaches sir, rather point blankly I might add. But what many do not know is that everyone in it will be resurrected Drop. Rev 20:13. Most people believe it is a place of torment, but in reality it is defined as the abode of the dead. Jesus went there, and he was resurrected from it. The first resurrected one to receive immortality.

I showed you where the NASB did, and yes we are speaking English.
"hallelujah" occurs 4 times in 4 verses in the NASB95.
"hallelujah" occurs 4 times in 4 verses in the NASB20. Source: Blue Letter Bible
Feel free to show a Hebrew or Greek version you might believe doesn't have it as well, I will see if they do or not.

Matt 5:5- "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth"
Depends on your interpretation of the word "meek", as I'm sure God has no interest in wishy-washy lukewarm wimps.
"Meek" may simply mean "laid back" and staying detached from the mire of the world in order to be selected for the kingdom "up there"..:)
