That's different to a large degree. I had stated that morality is an intrinsic awareness in all humans, ...maybe as much as the awareness of God is.
I was saying that to do unto others is clear to humans. And what is good for the goose, should be good for the gander. Thus, certain precepts are obvious and obligatory. Again, contrary to what your OP stated, morality affects every citizen.
As far as theism goes, denominations not so much, but 'In God We Trust' yes. Even the pagan empires recognized Yahweh on many occasions.

As I said in my OP, stealing and murder adversely affects an innocent third-party, wherein same-sex marriage only affects the same-sex couple and they enter into voluntarily.


For the record, I personally find same-sex relations to be revolting, but I also believe in the rights of others to live their lives free of me.

If you support living under a theocracy, then let me ask you a question. How would you feel if, for instance, Muslims becoming the majority and then imposing Sharia Law on all of us?

I believe that both God and Jesus are both just, loving and merciful. I may be wrong, but my guess is that there will be few to ZERO human souls cast into Hell.

If God, in His foreknowledge knew that billions of people He created were going to suffer burning agony forever, how is He then better than Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc.? They ended lives early. Since God can do anything (except lie), this would mean that He burned people forever because He wanted to. This is not the God I know. Just another religious lie that even God has a hard time removing. This does, however, describe our enemy to a tee.
I once read an article where a man who ran a gay newspaper in Toronto was interviewed. When asked whether he'd rather be around Christians or Muslims, he answered Muslims. The interviewer was surprised and ask the guy if he knew Muslims kill gays. He did but still preferred Muslims. I guess he hadn't learned to hate Muslims yet.
I believe that fallen angels, Nephilim hybrids, and possibly humans will be thrown into the lake of eternal fire. What happens to the enemy? Not my business. I'm concerned about humanity. Shalom.

I'm testifying to His character, not that He needs me to. I know Him well enough to know that "The Father's Love Letter" applies to all of us. When Jesus said he who is without sin cast the first stone, I believe He was and is referring to all of us. Peace.

Then God is lying in His Word, so why would you follow a book (Bible) if it contains lies?

Hell is real. Yes God is loving but with love comes a righteous judgment that hates sin.

I believe that we should live a life that is pleasing to God. At the same time, I believe that we should permit others the freedom to live their lives as they see fit. God gave you free will, so who are you to not extend free will to others? Did Jesus command us to create laws that criminalize immoral behavior? Jesus told Mary Magdalene to "sin no more" rather than follow through with the punishment for such behavior under the current law, which was death by stoning.

Not to mention, it is not our job to judge those "without"...
Anyone here have grands or nieces and nephews perhaps, who are living together? If so, how do you handle that? Do you cut them out of your life? And, I'm speaking of the un-saved ones, not the saved.

Yet, Christians are the third party that are harmed in this evil! They cannot hold to their convictions and have freedom of religion because they will be sued if they do not support what God condemns! Homosexuals already had civil-unions, and they did not want to marry, they wanted to destroy the meaning of marriage for Christians and Jews. It's not about homosexual rights, it's about how to destroy and chip away at the foundations of Christianity until it no more condemns them!

A Society is destroyed one piece at a time. GOD made HIS LAWS so that our Society would be WHOLE and HEALTHY, but some think it's OK to throw out one small piece, and then another small piece, and yet another small piece. -- and think everything is still WHOLE and HEALTHY.

Maybe they can do without the smallest muscle, the stapedius, which connects to the stapes bone to protect us from LOUD noises, or do without the little tiny ossicles bones (malleus, incus, and stapes), -- but THANKS, I'll keep my hearing; or maybe the smallest gland, the pineal gland, -- but THANKS, I'll keep my ability to properly sleep, wake up, and react to seasonal changes; or the little tiny Lactobacillus Acidophilus bacteria, -- but THANKS, I'll prefer to remain as healthy and disease free as possible.

I got my eternal fire thing one day when the Lord had me research the root word that the word fire came from. I used my NIV bible and my Strongest concordance. After I'd almost run out of the listings for fire, I finally found a different root. From here, I soon realized that it also meant the fire in Jesus' eyes, the baptism of fire, the fire that proceeds God, the fire in the lake of fire, etc. The bible talks about 2 types of fire.
