What are you meaning by "Traditional Christianity" and "Reformed"?is Catholicism like Traditional Christianity And Protestantism is Reformed or is this an over simplification
do i just go in there and ask? That would be your local parish community then ;)
How can you become a religion? Why don't you simply love Jesus & your fellow humans (If you want to believe that is) I do my utmost best to love the light that revealed itself to me when I was a teenager & to love my fellow humans as well. I have to fight the urge to hate other's as much as a Christian does, so am I doing anything different. I just don't call it anything, I don't hold to volumes of doctrine that does no one anything good. If you get mixed up in another religion you might regret it, just that you'll have to tow their line.how would you suggest i do that
Apparently it's a spanish speaking one.
what does c&p mean and what you mean by more helpful.
Your son probably kept you from going to jail. Smart kid!Look for a large statue of Mary with figures of children and animals all around it. There is a statue of Jesus but everyone is at the statue of Mary.
This is a scene from the school yard of the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Benton where we mistakenly placed our children in an emergency situation.
That's the school where the nun locked my son in a closet because he wouldn't bow before a statue of Mary. He was only ten but he knew the Lord. He never told me until later which was a good thing for the nun.
They're probably looking for new vict... Err members.
Left wing extremists rule
Why not become a disciple of Christ and forgo the man-made religious institutions? Follow Christ...
Blessed is he that trusts in the Lord,
Cursed is he that trusts in men.
PS: Always watch out for the men in pointy hats...
JW to RC - Out of the frying pan into the fire.
I'm not part of any denomination or movement or stream. I fellowship continually with like-minded followers of Christ and share hosting privileges of our simple, informal, spontaneous, in-home ekklesia where we edify and exhort one another in love.

Every church has its own doctrine....what they believe to be true about God and how to be a Christian.
The Catholic Church believes in:
1. Heaven
Purgatory
Hell
2. Two types of sin: Mortal and Venial
Venial sins (lesser sins) are confessed to God.
Mortal sins must be confessed to a priest.
3. Original Sin is imputed to all --- the reason why babies are baptized; it removes original sin.
4. The church does not believe in eternal security (OSAS).
5. It believes that one is saved by Jesus' sacrifice.
6. Transubstantiation: The host is literally the body and blood of Jesus.
If you're serious, you'll find that you'll have to attend an RICA* class for about a year and then make your first Holy Communion and also confirmation...also baptism if you haven't already been baptized by a Protestant church.
*Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
There's a lot more but it's too much to get into.
They believe in the Communion of Saints...
That Mary is the Mother of the church...and more....
