What are you meaning by "Traditional Christianity" and "Reformed"?

The Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox split from each other in 1058.
The Protestant Reformation happened in the 1500's, bringing about various Protestant churches throughout the coming years. For the most part, these churches see themselves as not rebels but practicing closer to the original Christianity.

How can you become a religion? Why don't you simply love Jesus & your fellow humans (If you want to believe that is) I do my utmost best to love the light that revealed itself to me when I was a teenager & to love my fellow humans as well. I have to fight the urge to hate other's as much as a Christian does, so am I doing anything different. I just don't call it anything, I don't hold to volumes of doctrine that does no one anything good. If you get mixed up in another religion you might regret it, just that you'll have to tow their line.

This is a scene from the school yard of the Our Lady of Fatima Church in Benton where we mistakenly placed our children in an emergency situation.

That's the school where the nun locked my son in a closet because he wouldn't bow before a statue of Mary. He was only ten but he knew the Lord. He never told me until later which was a good thing for the nun.

All true Christians are Catholic in fact.

When I was in the C of E they had always claimed to be the Catholic Church and when I was in the Lutheran Church they always claimed to be the Catholic Church as well, it was written down on many things they handed out to you.

If a Church does not make claim to being Catholic they are fools. because if they are not Catholic they are of Satan or stupid.

The Roman Church claims to be Catholic as well, that's why it's called the Roman Catholic Church.

I am of the Catholic Church but I am not a Roman Catholic.

I am born again so I do not need a worldly Church as I have come out from them, all of the churches are not truly worthy anyway as they will not save you, in fact they are not interested in such truly as they want you to be under there Church powers.

I am Catholic but I do not need a worldly Church denomination to lead me now because I am born again, I can go anywhere I please and talk to anyone, no one is going to lead me astray, what are they got to tell me ? nothing ! well I am not going to united with people who support pedo's, pass !
I will never be associated with any such people in anyway at all, nor will I be party to idolising so called Jews or Islam at all. what is it called when one does that ? something in their own nest . some things are clear cut ! just because it's the trend does not cut it with me.

I despise them who float about content in the sewer of fools. one has to surpass that of the Pharisee's as they never cut it as to God in fact, just as it is so with many of any Church denomination I have seen, even the Priest is peddling in a mans works religion and calling it a job I thought such was a vocation. it's a creep show nowadays as I may as well go down to the local Socialist Party mob, as they have the same Godless ends but with only much more zeal . nay you will not see me abiding with them lot of Satan inspired Vampires. Every church has its own doctrine....what they believe to be true about God and how to be a Christian.

The Catholic Church believes in:
1. Heaven
Purgatory
Hell

2. Two types of sin: Mortal and Venial
Venial sins (lesser sins) are confessed to God.
Mortal sins must be confessed to a priest.

3. Original Sin is imputed to all --- the reason why babies are baptized; it removes original sin.

4. The church does not believe in eternal security (OSAS).

5. It believes that one is saved by Jesus' sacrifice.

6. Transubstantiation: The host is literally the body and blood of Jesus.

If you're serious, you'll find that you'll have to attend an RICA* class for about a year and then make your first Holy Communion and also confirmation...also baptism if you haven't already been baptized by a Protestant church.
