I Surrender My Life Lord, but...

please don't tell me who to date.

I Surrender My Life Lord, but...

please don't tell me how to spend my money.

I Surrender My Life Lord, but...

please don't tell me where to go to church.

I Surrender My Life Lord, but...

I don't like being super religious and attending prayer meetings and reading the Bible and stuff.

I Surrender My Life Lord, but...

I've always liked heavy metal and rap, and don't wanna give them up.

I Surrender My Life Lord, but...

I really do enjoy the odd beer, and you made wine right? And nothing wrong with as little weed now and again after all, you made that to didn't you? Moderation in all things they say.

I surrender my whole life Lord...

It is written that man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word o the LORD .
One thing common under the sun of christendom that many love to do .
Sin . and thus whatever sin holds their heart
they will find a version of a god and of a jesus that has no PROBLEM with that sin .
But reread that last line and then ask yourself , HOW come amigo didnt captilize that god and that jesus ..........
AND THE ANSWER will come to you . CAUSE IT AINT JESUS they do love or have surrendered unto .
Its he who can use that name and giveth them an image of another jesus . And that one CANNOT GIVE ETERNAL LIFE
it simply cannot save . AS seeing the ol devil has always desired the death of man
ITS WHAT HE GONNA DO to ensure they be damned . Many love a lie my friend
and for all who make and loved a lie , There is a place that awaits them . IT AINT PARADISE either .
TIME to bible up .

In these last days and hours upon earth the wicked has spread wide and far its branches .
And the blind leaders of the blind call to their children
and say alas we have the light
and the children holler back alas we see .
But none does know or understand
that darkness IS NOT LIGHT
But one who is of darkness sure can portray himself as an angel of light
as can his many minsitris appear as men of righteousness .
WE BEDDA , BETTER , and very quickly BETTER pick up them bibles for our own selves
and start learning and being refreshed in THE TRUTH of THE LORD and HIS inspired lovely words .

I've learned through experience that most people do not primarily lie to you; they primarily lie to themselves. Lying to you is merely a consequence of their self deception. Our cynical society responds by saying "It's not a lie if you believe it." No. It's still a lie.

This explains why Jesus said although you call me lord, lord and perform miracles in my name, I never (truly) knew you. Also, this is why I say the gates of heaven will not be breached by lip service.

One sermon the message was how everyone wants a savior but few want a lord but the coin offered has these 2 sides of the same coin.

Yeah, the tares who claim to be Christians... always like to keep a few sins.

They learned this from the OSAS peoples who go around saying it's no possible to lose one's salvation which leads people to keep or go back to their old sins... they just try to hide it from the pastor and they wait till after church to spark up a doobie, snort their coke, and watch their porn ya know

Why don't we trust Him enough to surrender all?
Is trust, to the extent we do surrender, a learning curve that God takes us on throughout our lives... Is that an intrinsic part of sanctification? Is that learning curve for everyone, or only for those willing to take the first steps, then the next step, them the next and so forth. If we baulk at some stage, and say, nuh, I wanna keep this, or we struggle to let stuff go because of addiction or habit or false theology, what then?

I know that may sound shocking. I don't blame it on any particular doctrine like OSAS, but I know 2 women personally whose husbands abused them and the marriage disintegrated. I am living in a house once occupied by one of those women, and work with another. Both were elders in their respective churches. I also knew a man who ended up in jail for under age relations aka raping his 2 daughters. He also was in the church. We do not know what goes on behind closed doors: intimidation, control, mind games, and it goes both ways. I would hesitate to suggest that there are more than 50% true Christians in any churches in your, or my, neighbourhood. I believe our churches have many who have never been truly converted, and many who were once converted but no longer walking with the Lord.
Do you know what a hang-up is in forestry terms?

I Surrender My Life Lord, but...

Fact is Surrendering one’s Life unto the Lord, does not “Make” that person from that day forward “Perfect”, in his “own” Flesh Body.

That individual is “perfected”, WHEN he “IS”
Representing The Lord, according to the Lords Word, Ways, Manner.

The Killer “but”, does NOT hang on what an individual, sees or hears by happenstance.
Rather…
Is the one on one Personal Relationship between that one individual and the Lord God, supreme.

Only TWO know the True Heart of a man…
The man…AND…the Lord God Almighty.

And it “IS” the True Thoughts of the Heart of a man that establishes the Lord Gods “acceptance” / “agreement” / “promise”, to “HAVE” a “Forever” one on one Relationship with that Individual (or not).

Glory to God,

I agree. But I read on this very forum professing Christians calling Jesus Lord, but claiming the ten commandments are voided by Jesus' death... It's okay to have marital relations before marriage... Is okay to drink, smoke, attend rock concerts, wear tattoos, insult those they disagree with, etc etc. In other words, they lead lifestyles that are quite contrary to their profession. Many it seems call Jesus Lord, and so they should, but their own lips seem to deny His authority. I'm wondering how unbelievers, searching for answers to their own habits and addictions, and seeking a more simple lifestyle devoid of the worldly issues that have tormented them all their lives, respond to those in the churches who openly practise and approve of lifestyles that are devoid of true holiness and contradict the character of the Saviour? Lifestyles that mirror the ones they want to be free from?

It's not primarily about trust but ego, pride. What was the Original Sin? Thinking ourselves God.

Sure, in the storm of life, thrown overboard and drowning, only out of desperation to save my own skin do I accept being saved by another. But the job of master of my life is not seeking applications. Who do you think you are, a federal district judge?*

* References a recent joke from 'turn around the plane' order:
Q. What's the difference between God and a federal district judge?
A. God does not think he's a federal district judge.

The Reality is:
A Present (bodily crucified with Jesus, saved soul and quickened spirit) Relationship between one man and The Lord…”IS” exclusively based on:
*”True Confessed Heartful Belief”.
(Prepared for Rapture)

A man, “At the Time of his physical Death” who heartfully believes IN God, becomes Soul Saved Then.
(Prepared for First Mass Resurrection)

Thereafter (Judgements, Sentencing).

Part of the “Judgement” includes “a mans WORKS”.

WORKS are separate from the determined Judgement of Saved or Not.

Regarding the mans WORKS…
Are anything the man Does throughout his Lifetime….WHICH GLORIFIES GOD,

Which is to say…Giving God all credit for the mans ability to… be kind, charitable, lend a hand, etc.

When the “credit” is literally given to God…That becomes a Debt unto God.

How God “repays” Such a Debt, IS by, through, of the Promise of “Rewards”, on “Judgement Day”, when the “books” (evidence) are opened, the mans “WORKS” revealed, and his “reward” given and received.

The “buts”, you mentioned, what men do, like, don’t like, that have nothing to do with glorifying God…(regardless Saved or not)…
Shall be Burned.

People who ARE or Shall be Saved…
All have “tons” of WORKS that Shall be burned.

Some individuals, Shall receive Many “Rewards”….others, not so much.

Point IS, receiving Rewards For Glorifying God (or not), has ZERO negative Effect on their “Salvation”.

In other words, Doing good works that Glorify God…IS NOT “HOW” one receives The “GIFT” of Salvation…
Rather it is “HOW”, one receives “REWARDS”.

Some people will “miss out” receiving the “Gift” of Salvation…

And…

Some people will “miss out” receiving the “Rewards”, for Glorifying God.

Eph 2:
[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Rev 12:
[12] And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

God bless you.

Glory to God,

This reminds me of when I used to work in a hospital, rest resthome, dementia unit. When a new caregiver comes in after securing a job, they have the idea that they are going to be spending time with residents, having a cup of tea, and chatting. Sometimes taking them for a walk or reading to them. Then when they are elbow-deep cleaning up bowel movements or showering someone or changing a soiled bed or two. They realize they are not cut out for this kind of stuff and leave. Very much like the parable of the sower.

Hello

The parable of the Sower is not a parable about leaving our circumstances that we are living in, it is a parable about the responses of the Israelite over a period of around 4,000 years after each 1,000 years, from the start of the stream flowing out from under the Altar to God until the completion of this prophecy's 4,000-year period.

In around 44 years, the Israelites will be drawn to germinate in the fertile soil of Christ, i.e. Israel and draw their nourishment from that prepared field after God begin to draw them to Himself is around 20 years' time.

A true seer will know this and encourage those around them to draw near to God and to take root in the fertile soil that they can find in the "field" of salvation during the time that they are living in. Remember that God has promised a period of peace, after the beasts have been silenced for a period of 1,000 years, which will begin in around 20 years' time.

At present the cares of the world, i.e. weeds etc., are trying to choke us out of a relationship with God unless we persevere.
