Hi there,
So those of you who are mature will love this. It's about a relationship with Jesus, that you can actually test. Getting feedback on faith (anything really) is really important to getting it right; so knowing that you can trust Jesus for feedback should really help you.
What I did was, I said "Jesus, is there anything wrong with my faith?" Just a simple question; no flowery words. It allowed me to put my faith in focus, that it was for Him, that He was the Judge. Remember that believers will face the Great White Throne Judgment in the afterlife (Revelation). So by exercising my faith, knowing that He is responsible for how my faith is and will be judged, I asked what mattered most (to that faith): is Jesus pleased with my faith? More importantly, where can I improve my faith?
Jesus promises that if you ask, you shall receive and the answer to this "question" was no exception: Jesus said "you take too long to rebuke the Devil". That's it! That's what He said. Don't ask me how I knew what He was saying, I guess He spoke to my conscience (from where the question arose). I suppose Jesus answered that way because He would like an answer about His faith, from God, the same way. The answer was to the point. I do spend way too long waiting for the right moment, to stand up for myself. The Devil realises I am not rebuking him, and makes my situation worse. It's something that with the Holy Spirit's help, I will improve.
And that is where the question leaves me! I now realise that I need to pray to the Holy Spirit about this, to get the right council about the right motive, to the right end. I trust that the Holy Spirit and I together will rebuke and resist the Devil and it will be pleasing to God. To God be the Glory - I hope this has been of some encouragement to you (naturally, I would love to hear of areas of faith that you need to improve?).
God bless.
