@Lambano Sounds great exercise...Another beautiful day spent walking in the woods - hunting for my lost golf balls.
My friend grew up on the lake. We used to dive for golf balls.Another beautiful day spent walking in the woods - hunting for my lost golf balls.
While walking the Sneaky Labrador down by the river this morning, I ran into the neighbors from across the street. They were going to try the New Year's Day traditional "Polar Bear Plunge" into the river. While the weather has been abnormally warm here, I think they're nuts. That water looks COLD!
High of 77F (25C for those on the Metric system). Monday it remembers that it's January.@Lambano Sounds great exercise...
(A point to remember also is that when golf balls are declared lost and when the boys of the district earn a bit of money looking for the lost golf balls, the boys need to remember that the balls need to stop rolling before they can be declared lost....)
:)
Now these people are certifiably insane.
Sounds good...My friend grew up on the lake. We used to dive for golf balls.
I held my breath for 5 minutes diving for golf balls. It was dangerous.Sounds good...
You know what the mosquitos were like down in the 'glades?@Lambano Well, you sure must love the Everglades and so forth, &...Lake Okee...whatever.....
Maybe your counting was kind of vague....I held my breath for 5 minutes diving for golf balls. It was dangerous.
Gotta salvage them before they absorb too much water. Otherwise they feel like a rock when the hit the club face.My friend grew up on the lake. We used to dive for golf balls.
@Lambano Well....in neighbouring Manisnoba, in summer, when the snow has melted, they say the mosquito is the Provincial animal... :)You know what the mosquitos were like down in the 'glades?
However, they were not as bad as the mosquitos in Minnesota. Had an uncle used to live in the Twin Cities area. We went fishing on one of those 10,000 lakes. Because it was August, I took off my shirt. No bug spray. I had mosquito bites from my belt line to my hair line.
That's impressive.I held my breath for 5 minutes diving for golf balls. It was dangerous.
Something like that.....Minnesotans say the mosquito is the State Bird.
Hi @Mayflower ! happy new year to you and yours; yes, they really do say that in Manisnowba....
