3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods,
which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
Interesting is what the start of this thread points out which is that
words have two meanings.
Consider even “to marry” also has two meanings. ‘They forbid people to marry ….’
Romans 7:2-4 For the woman which has an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he lives; but if the husband be dead,
she is loosed from the law of her husband. [3] So then if, while her husband lives,
she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress,
though she be married to another man. [4] Wherefore, my brethren, you also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ;
that you should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
The most damaging forbidding them to marry…
is not forbidding a man and woman (literally) to not marry. It is not forbidding a legal marriage in man’s courts where a man and woman become one flesh.
BUT the most damaging where “they” forbid “people to marry” is forbidding people to not marry: another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
By forbidding people to marry(again not two becoming one flesh but two becoming One Spirit as those who have been joined to Christ become
One Spirit)…by forbidding them(people) to marry another, even Him who raised from the dead),
they forbid people “to
be loosed” “by the body of Christ”.
By refusing people to marry (in the highest forbidding them not to be joined in One Spirit to Christ)… they bringing people back into bondage by forbidding people to marry, they make them of “if her husband be not dead, she is bound by the law of her husband as long as he lives”.
They forbid people to be loosed “by the body of Jesus Christ” where likewise you are
free to marry not being bond under the Old but made free by the New, and bring forth fruit unto God. free from the curse and death, free from
the law of Jealousies of her husband where if “she marry another” she will be called an adulterous bringing forth sin unto death. See? They forbid them to marry saying they are of the adulterous? the second part of the verse where by forbidding people to marry…they bring them back unto the bondage of death: and
order them to abstain from certain foods,
What is Apostasy if not forbidding Christ. To turn away from Christ? To reject the good news.
Point is something significant is going on in their forbidding people to marry …to me it has to do with same as apostasy has two meanings, so does “to marry”. where either the woman is bound to the law of her husband (as long as he lives) where if she marries another she will be called an adulterous woman. Or “loosed” “free” to marry …where if her husband be dead, by the body of Christ then she is free to marry another, even Him who raised from the dead. To bring forth Fruit unto God.
For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,
5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
Key is ….which God created
to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. <that which God created to be received …what is the most vital thing needed
to be received if not “by the body of Christ” you have been made “free” to bear and bring forth fruit unto God.
