Pretty new here and I'm sure this is probably a no brainer. But I've been watching some of this amil vs premil stuff, and from what I understand, an amillennialist doesn't believe in a millennium. But then they try to teach about one. How exactly does someone deny there is a millennium, and then spend lots of time talking about something they say doesn't exist? Isn't it enough just to say you don't believe in one, without all the in and out arguing about one?
Since I don't believe in an Imamah salvation, why would I ever spend time arguing about his coming, and his nature, and what he looks like? I don't care, because I say he doesn't exist. And arguing about details about him makes no sense, and I'm certainly not going to convince any muslim to stop believing in him by arguing about him. If some muslim was trying to tell me about his Imamah, I'd just tell him yo-mamah and move on. Right?
