God thought it was a bad thing,Why is knowledge of good and evil reported as a bad thing?
There is no knowledge apart from the crossSeek the face of God “nope stare at the cross like a catatonic sheep”
Seek knowledge “ nope you’ll be like God,,, continue staring at the cross”
Who would you say chooses? They are there because one believed, and one did not believe
The rich man chose to not believeWho would you say chooses?
I stopped the words, as sometimes they are to much. They have been spoken before in the world, and will be again, but this is just a message board. I know that The Lord is not displeased with me and that is all that counts to me. Thank you for asking. Have a Blessed day!How were they stopped short?
Shalom to you and family.I stopped the words, as sometimes they are to much. They have been spoken before in the world, and will be again, but this is just a message board. I know that The Lord is not displeased with me and that is all that counts to me. Thank you for asking. Have a Blessed day!
Jesus was in the form of God but left it behind to be found in the form of a servant. He was wholly submitted to the Father and didn't stray out of God's will for Him. It even says He only ever did what He saw the Father doing. And though He could have asked the Father to send angels to rescue Him from the cross, He didn't...instead He submitted to the will of the Father. You know, we can do all kinds of things supposedly for God, like those who said "Lord, Lord, didn't we do thus and such for you..." but He is looking for those who do His will, who are submitted under Him, not running ahead doing their own will in how they serve. I believe knowledge/understanding is like that too, we need to remain submitted to Him in our seeking, and not go beyond what is written...bringing our thoughts into captivity to Christ and His word. You don’t believe Jesus had knowledge of good and evil?
Let me rephrase, do you believe Jesus had knowledge of good and evil?
tHow does the word say we were reconciled, what happened? Can’t assume everyone knows or will know at some time they were the enemy of God?
Tell me some more about David’s tabernacle, I’d like to read about it.we need to remain submitted to Him in our seeking, and not go beyond what is written...bringing our thoughts into captivity to Christ and His word.
I already shared it with you.Tell me some more about David’s tabernacle, I’d like to read about it.
Also seems your implying I’m outside of the will of God for seeking knowledge?Jesus was in the form of God but left it behind to be found in the form of a servant. I believe knowledge/understanding is like that too, we need to remain submitted to Him in our seeking, and not go beyond what is written...bringing our thoughts into captivity to Christ and His word.
Isaiah 7:14-15 KJVJesus was in the form of God but left it behind to be found in the form of a servant. He was wholly submitted to the Father and didn't stray out of God's will for Him. It even says He only ever did what He saw the Father doing. And though He could have asked the Father to send angels to rescue Him from the cross, He didn't...instead He submitted to the will of the Father. 1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:Isaiah 7:14-15 KJV
[14] Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. [15] Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.
So again, if I have no knowledge of good and evil how will I discern?
Johann1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1Co 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
How will you know how to discern between good and evil if you are void of the Holy Spirit?
