Christ is in us by His Spirit. His Spirit, IS Christ, His nature. We received His spirit/Him when we believed. Otherwise we would not belong to Him, because the scripture says who has not the spirit is none of His. You need to acknowledge the "yes" part of the "yes, but not yet."
Amen

but as many as have recieved him, to them he gave the right to become children…

Poeple will look to the bible to justify themselves by reading it. You are applying the bible to yourself..which is dishonest. It's not readers of the bible that are justifed but doers of the word.

I hope this helps!

Much love
You cant know how Tom do unless you read

it amazes me how the cross and bible are so meaningless to you

You forget that you are the name it, claim it, ideologue, not me. I don't claim to be presently in the higher walk otherwise I wouldn't be trying to talk turkey to the flightless birds here.
Thats the problem.

You claim to be Christs. And claim you have his power. But you do not walk.

this should be your first clue

Sure. That's not the issue. But it is the false claiming that condemns you. Jesus said the the Pharisees...because you say you SEE...your sin remains.

Do you claim to understand or SEE the depth of the gospel?

Do you claim to have need of nothing like the Laodiceans? Jesus says...repent.
You deny the cross.. so how are your sins removed?

If someone pointing to the cross all day is a problem for you that is revealing. Matthew 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad
That's the problem...there is only scattering going on.....an endless disruption of holier than thou self-promotion using Jesus as a smokescreen for bad form. Anything done with the right attitude is acceptable. Flooding a thread with the same slogans over and over...off topic...is a disruption and a virtue signaling. It dishonours God and is meant to puff up the ego of the one who is constantly drawing attention to himself and how righteous he is...totally off topic. And it creates a mob mentality based on a religious agenda to silence whatever challenges the status quo.

OK So then I point to the cross....and I'm still pointing. I am still pointing to the cross....etc. Are people not edified??? Do I repeat that again in every thread...in every post? Do I subject people to my insecurities about my salvation...by repeating dogmatic statements?

I don't see any glory going to God by being glib and using His name and the sacrifice of Christ in vain. Why isn't it advisable to use wisdom and constraint? Using the sacrifice of the Lord in a proper way with a proper humility and in the fear of the Lord..

IF one believes not the gospel they cannot pick up their cross .
The CROSS is not picked up by those who do not believe .
ONLY in CHRIST can we overcome .
Those who believe the gospel will be given power .
But many through self righteous acts will believe they are crucified with Christ . But if one believes not in him its all in vain .
CHRIST did take on our sins in his flesh . So that we being dead to sin should live unto righteousness .
But the problem is we have some trying to act as though those who believe not through acts of self are doing what JESUS has already
done for us . See someone is preaching the defintion of what JESUS did on the cross , but forgetting the fact
one must believe to be saved in the first place .
Its a tricky way to end up believing in a works based salvation . WHEN In truth we can see their error .
Cause they know the lingo . they know how to quoate what JESUS did on the cross .
But then refuse to say other religions have to repent and believe on him .
Instead they give the idea that It just can automatically happen for unbelievers . NO , YE MUST BELIEVE .
PICK up the CROSS and FOLLOW HIM . BELIEVE IN HIM .

I notice nothing but opinions and presuppositions and no scripture. It seems to be the norm with your posts. I guess the bible takes a back seat to your opinions and experience.

I'm still waiting for him to tell us what the gospel is but like the questions yesterday they are not being answered.

Oh, the simplicity! And, that's probably why they had the unity in the Spirit, and real power back then, double thumbs up!
1 Corinthians 2:2
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

Galatians 6:14
But as for me, may I never boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world

Philippians 3:8-10
Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— 10 that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
