I know this but Wrangler and a couple others are insisting he did.

I am glad they finally accepted the truth and set to work fixing the harm they did. And I am glad that their son could still find it in his heart to forgive them.

I also think it has been magnanimous and gracious on his part. Knowing them, I doubt they have had a change in understanding. If that is the case, he's being much more gracious than they because he has entered back into relationship knowing what they think about his relationship. Still, it is so much better than it was, for that situation at least.

You do realize that folks just like me could lip service things about JESUS and the cross that may well have been true .
YET i still did not know him . but that is a good idea . You go and start asking him questions about that .
BE SURE and ask him about if he believes other religoins have the dire need to beleive on CHRIST .

The thing is...

A born again believer will always recognize the Cross. In other words, when they hear it, when someone like me is bragging on JESUS and the Cross and the shed BLOOD and so forth....something happens inside them, as that is the Holy Spirit.
See....., the Holy Spirit LIFTS UP JESUS.. HE draws us to Christ...
So, when i do this....or when anyone brags on Jesus, and glorifies Jesus, then the Holy Spirit in other believers, causes them to react.

If the Holy Spirit is not in them, then they react AGAINST the Cross.....it makes them angry and they want to argue about their self righteous works. They want to talk about their WATER.
So, That is what the Cross does to people.
it makes them react with appreciation, or it makes them burn red hot under the Light within their opposition.

Thats how you can tell on a forum, who is pretending and who isn't., or who is saved but deceived.

Its really simple.
The born again want to give Jesus some love, and they will love the Cross, and those who are not, react very strangely, instead.

People whom the devil owns, or who He has deceived.... cannot give Jesus all the credit due Him alone = for keeping them saved.
