YOu need to realize that governments are manned by humans and thus prone to failures and sin.

Despite that God uses human government as Paul wrote in Romans 13. We need to be subject to government with the caveat they do not directly demand we viiolate the Word of God.

As for Hiroshima?

Governments go to war because someone seeks evil against another population. in the case of WW 2 It was italy, Japan and Germany that invaded and enslaved other nations.

Japan was a nation devoted to their emperor and considered him a god. The population was brought up and indoctrinated to fight to the death for the honor of their god emperor.

In order to end the murderous conquest of the Japanese empire (remember this population rejoiced in the murder of millions of Chinese civilians and using them as slave labor)

The only way to end the war would have been an invasion which would have cost millions of lives both for Japan and for the allies. The people would have fought with pichforks for the honor of the emperor. Remember soldiers are nothing more than people of a country who took up arms.

So the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were a blessing in disguise. those two horrendous acts saved millions of other civilian lives who would have gladly fought to their death.

War is a horrible and dreadful thing to happen. Until Jesus physically returns to earth to establish His kingdom, nations will need to go to war (Romans 13) to protect weaker nations.

I am agains tkilling. but I do know this, if someone came to my home and was threatening my family, I would have no problems stopping them even if it means taking their life. and war is the same thing just on a bigger scale.
When one looks deepe rinto the Games of WW1 and WW2 one can see a Devil is in the detail ?

As W Churchill said what the reason was for His Masters War ?

Remember that W Churchill said 3 years before WW2, That Germany was going to Gew War weather She liked it of Not !

Another of W Churchill pointed out, That We could of won the War without firing a single shot ! But we wanted to Win Markets !

Now Who is the We ? well his Master in fact, Lord Rothschild ! and his big Banking buddys.

Not to mention who created such nonsense as Communism and why did it get a foot hold over the People ? the same idiot dealings regarding the creation of the Nazis was at hand !

It's all a Game that was created in fact, well ordered and carryed out easy enough and Hitler and Starlin and Churchill and Rose were all good mates, just playing their Craft ! for their own Class ends ?

All of the creation regarding Germany was set out years before in The Game, they were set up ! It all was clearly a Setup ! same in regards Communism was all totaly a Setup ! no one could be so stupid to fall for it all, but they are crafty and dog cunning as they come !

Hitler was a total moron during the War, in fact it was him who did every dumb idiot thing that lead Germans to be killed in fact !
Starlin clearly had no regards for any one his whole life in fact ! Just leading over stupid idiot Slaves like a total Monster in fact.

Very very welthy people could just walk through Communist Russia at anytime regardless, so much for the working so called Class !

The slave Class is what everyone was in fact or the Game players who dominated over all such and the Churchills of this world could not give a rats about such Communist in fact ! because such as his Class created Communism ! Such is all a Joke to the toff Class, easy to manipulate, as that is their Game of their Mastery in fact ! as it is regardless, for they have set themselves for such a position over all others in fact. they are not stupid !

There is not a single war fought in the Christian era that has God’s approval

The things you read on the Internet.

He alone has authority to take life
Untrue. With the right to our life comes the right to defend that life. This is why the commandment prohibits murder rather than killing.

Indeed....

I think you are still confusing personal self-defence with the wars of the nations.....so what is the difference between “murder” and “killing”? The difference is God’s sanction.
We have been down this road before....

The wars of Israel were fought with God’s sanction only when foreign nations threatened to conquer their God-given land....God backed up his people, even when it seemed that they were hopelessly outnumbered.

When they tried to fight political wars and allied themselves with worldly nations, God abandoned his people to their enemies. Those nations fought wars in the name of their gods, so Israel’s God would have nothing to do with it....showing Israel that their God was not interested in war for man’s sake, but only for the sake of God’s name and his Sovereignty over his people.
Like Jehovah said to Pharaoh: “By now I could have thrust my hand out to strike you and your people with a devastating plague, and you would have been wiped out from the earth. But for this very reason I have kept you in existence: to show you my power and to have my name declared in all the earth.” (Exodus 9:15-16)

The corruption of worldly governments is no surprise under satan’s control and influence, but propaganda works on those who put their patriotism before their Christianity. Indoctrinated from birth to imagine that their nation was “under God”....what a joke! There is no nation on earth whose government is not totally corrupt.

Jesus told us to be “NO PART of the WORLD” that satan rules. (1John 5:19) The wars of the nations have nothing to do with God’s Christian worshippers. Jesus refused to get involved in the political matters of his day and concentrated on teaching his disciples about God’s Kingdom, not supporting man’s.

In Jesus’ day, God’s people were subjugated to Rome which was the only army in existence which the Jews could join and fight, but they oppressed God’s people and were seen as an enemy, and worshippers of false gods. Israel by then had no military force. Those Jews who worked for the Roman government as tax collectors were despised because they were seen as corrupt, working for the enemy.

The early Christians refused to serve in the Roman army, both in the legions and auxilia, considering such service as wholly incompatible with the teachings of Christianity. (Romans 12:17-21)

According to Justin Martyr (110-l65 C.E.) in his “Dialogue with Trypho”: “We who were filled with war, and mutual slaughter, and every wickedness, have each through the whole earth changed our warlike weapons,—our swords into ploughshares, and our spears into implements of tillage.”

And there is no doubt where Tertullian stood in 204 C.E. on the question of military service for Christians. In his treatise De Corona, chapter XI, discussing “whether warfare is proper at all for Christians,” he argued from Scripture “the unlawfulness even of a military life itself,” concluding, “I banish from us the military life.”

Origen [185-254] . . .said that ‘the Christian Church cannot engage in war against any nation”. . . . In that period many Christians were martyred for refusing military service.
True Christians today also suffer prison sentences for refusing military service.

In “The Rise of Christianity”, (1947, E. W. Barnes, p. 333) he stated.....“A careful review of all the information available goes to show that, until the time of Marcus Aurelius [121-180] no Christian became a soldier; and no soldier, after becoming a Christian, remained in military service.”

History argues with you Wrangler....your patriotism gets in the way of your Christianity....you have to choose one or the other, because you cannot have a foot in both camps.

You bear false witness to God's words
1 John 5:19 We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.

It says nothing about a command to have no part of this world. And this claim is absurd on its face for God so loved the world he gave his only son. He gave us the Great Commission, which is the exact opposite of having no part of this world.

Nope. No confusion at all. One is an extension of the other.
Nope. He already sanctioned killing by prohibiting only murder. He set the rules. Now, we are living by them.
You bear false witness to God's words
1 John 5:19 We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one.

Popes teach there is such a thing as justified war, which is Biblical. God commanded Joshua to conquer Canaan.
I’m smiling that it took you four posts to say that….:Broadly:

Personal self defense is permissible, but under Israel’s law, if you killed someone, even accidentally, you paid the penalty…hence the difference between manslaughter and murder.
War is a whole other story.

Premeditated murder was not sanctioned by God under any circumstances…..war is premeditated, and the weapons developed by humans (especially in these last days) are so evil that they are indiscriminate in their scope, with the result that innocent women and children and elderly ones have little chance to survive the slaughter.

Are you defending the use of weapons of mass destruction? If so you condone what God does not.
No war fought in the Christian Era has God’s sanction. As the historical evidence shows. Can you ignore it?

The “world” that goes to war is satan‘s world….what “the world” does, has nothing to do with Christ’s disciples. (John 17:16) God’s Kingdom has nothing to do with this world. ((John 18:36)

We are to “conquer evil with good”…remember? We are not to “return evil for evil”. (Romans 12:17-21) How can you argue with so clear a statement? Only if your patriotism conquers your Christianity. We are to be “NO PART” of that world, the one mentioned in 1 john 5:19 is controlled by God’s adversary. Fighting in a political war no matter whose side you are on, shows that you are not a Christian.

Does God take sides in man’s violence?
James 1:20..
”for man’s anger does not bring about God’s righteousness.”

As for popes teaching that war is justified….seriously….popes have promoted nothing but satanic lies for centuries….the trinity, hellfire, immortal souls, veneration of Mary, purgatory…not to mention the position of a pope himself….all are pagan adoptions. They worship a very different “god“ to the one Jesus came to teach us.

If you want to justify war, then you have to ignore a lot of scripture to maintain your patriotism, which for Americans particularly, is difficult because you are indoctrinated from birth. You are raised to put country before God whilst claiming that these two positions are compatible….but one cancels the other out, because there is no such thing as a “Christian” country. There are Christians in all nations so that when these Christians join the military and then fight a war with their own brothers in another nation, whose side does God take?
Acts 10:34-35…
”Peter began to speak, and he said: “Now I truly understand that God is not partial, 35 but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”

So is it acceptable to God to have his people fight and kill each other, when Christ is the “Prince of Peace”?

1 John 4:20-21..
”If anyone says, “I love God,” and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar. For the one who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21 And we have this commandment from him, that whoever loves God must also love his brother.”

Can you love your brother with a gun, a bomb or a missile? Your reasoning is very skewed Wrangler….but only God can help your heart to see the error in your judgment.

You can double down on this issue, but you cannot justify it by scripture or by the conduct of the first Christians…..politics in every nation is a dirty business because of who is running this show….(2 Cor 4:3-4)

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Patriotism is a worldly protection racket based in vain deceit. It's Statism - the State as God.

…..politics in every nation is a dirty business because of who is running this show….(2 Cor 4:3-4)
Indeed.

Politics? State “educating”? Was Jesus involved in these things of the world? For instance, is the pledge of allegiance to the flag considered idolatry by God? Well, let's begin by asking ourselves a question. "What would Jesus do?" Can you picture Jesus Christ, in the first century, placing his hand over his heart and saying the pledge of allegiance to the state of Israel? If not, why not?

If Jesus Christ were in America today, can you picture him pledging allegiance to the flag? Well, one might bring up the point that America is God's chosen nation. Well, wasn't Israel God's chosen nation when Jesus was in the flesh? So, if Jesus would not pledge allegiance to God's Holy Land in the first century, why would he pledge allegiance to any other 'holy land' in our century?

The answer is simple. To pledge allegiance to anything else but God, is to pledge allegiance to something outside of God. Nobody can serve two masters (Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:13). Just like Jesus could not pledge allegiance to both Israel and God at the same time, man cannot pledge allegiance to both country and God. Remember, God's kingdom is not of this world (John 8:23; 17:16; 18:36). Even though Israel was considered "godly", and America is considered a "godly" nation, it is still placing ones allegiance to something other than God himself. Israel is not God. America is not God. Nations are outside of God.

Jesus did not believe in borders. He commanded to break down and penetrate borders between nations (Mark 16:15). Followers of Christ are not to be citizens of any earthly nation, but we are to be fellow citizens "of the household of God" (the Ephesians 2:19). Jesus prayed that "...all may be one" (John 17:21). Jesus said, "And the cares of this world…choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful" (Mark 4:19). Paul said, "And be not conformed to this world" (Romans 12:2). Isn't pledging allegiance to the flag, or country, conforming to the ways of the world?

Bondservants of Christ are children of God, and we are ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20, Ephesians 6:20). This is evidence that ambassadors are not considered citizens of a country, even if born in that country. Also, as ambassadors for Christ, we can not participate in the politics of the nation.

To put this citizenship thing in a much simpler frame, here's a court case from 1865:

"You have heard some discussion as to the meaning of this term 'citizenship of the United States.' It has a plain, simple, everyday meaning, and that meaning you may safely take, without a definition, is that unequivocal relation between every American and his country which binds him to allegiance and pledges to him protection." United States v. Darnod, 25 Federal Case Number 14,915, page 763. This is completely opposed to what scripture teaches, which is to "Owe no man any thing, but to love one another" (Romans 13:8). If we owe allegiance to Caesar, we not only owe something besides "love," but we are trying to serve two masters, which Christ says is impossible.

The Government is my Shepherd, I need not work. It alloweth me to lie down on a good job; It leadeth me beside still factories; It destroyeth my initiative. It leadeth me in the path of a parasite for politic's sake; Yea, though I walk through the valley of laziness and deficit-spending, I will fear no evil, for the government is with me. It prepareth an economic Utopia for me, by appropriating the earnings of my own grandchildren. It filleth my head with false security; My inefficiency runneth over. Surely the government should care for me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell in a fool's house forever.

Your rationalization is rejected for it means, in effect, there is no non-military targets.
Not what I satiated and not was claimed. You claimed neither was a military target. Both cities were military targets.
The world needs to know the truth about all wars. There is not a single war fought in the Christian era that has God’s approval…..let alone using such evil weaponry that is designed purely for the mass destruction of human life and property. Innocent people are not “collateral damage”…they are victims of criminal activity, (cold blooded murder) on both sides. No Christian has sanction from God to kill innocent women and children as part of a country’s military force. The world will do what the world wants to do, but Christians must be “no part” of it. (John 17:16; John 18:36)

When Jesus told us to be “no part of the world”….he meant us to be no part of its rulership or its political agendas….no part of its greedy commercialism, or it’s false worship…..because there is only one god and ruler of this world. (1 John 5:19) The devil controls all three.

Any who participate or approve of what evil humans are doing, will find no place with the “Prince of Peace”.

America is the only nation to have used nuclear weapons on human beings in the full knowledge of what this weapon would do to those upon whom it was used. It’s creation and implementation were satanic…pure evil, justified by propaganda. The images of that horror will be imprinted on the minds of all who see them for the rest of their lives In this world…..gratefully though, this world is soon to “pass away”….along with all who love what it is doing.

“Do not love either the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him; 16  because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world. 17  Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but the one who does the will of God remains forever.” (1 John 2:15-17)
I wonder what the widows and widowers of Pearl Harbor think.
Wonder what the widows and widowers of every American, British, Australian, Korean and Chinese thinks
Wonder what every Christian and Jew thinks about the atrocities by the Muslims ....

Nowhere in the Bible does it tell Christians to put their head on the chopping block and surrender at will.

If they knew the truth of the matter, they would realize that their suffering has been in vain, as their husbands were sacrificed to the glory of the State. Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Wonder what every Christian and Jew thinks about the atrocities by the Muslims ....
Forgive them, for they know not what they do.

Nowhere in the Bible does it tell Christians to put their head on the chopping block and surrender at will.
Whose "chopping block" would that be? Why would a follower of Christ involve himself with those who would wield such "chopping blocks"? Why would the follower of Christ allow himself to be maneuvered into a situation where he would be obliged to "surrender at will"?

Personal self defense is permissible
Overly limited. The State is an extension of the individual, its rights are derived from the rights of the individuals.

And today’s weaponry requires a much more masculine, less passive constraint of self defense to include preempting violence. That is, good guys don’t always shoot second.

This explains the need take Saddam and Iran’s nuclear plants out. Collateral damage is a part of this responsibility of self defense.

Are you defending the use of weapons of mass destruction?
Yes.
We are to “conquer evil with good”…remember?
Yes, violence is how evil is conquered in the real world. It wasn’t our inherent goodness that took out the empire of Japan and the Nazi’s.

It explains why every country has both, military and police. And why many have private security, including armed security. Justice cannot be carried out without the potential for violence.

You can double down on this issue, but you cannot justify it by scripture
I already have justified it using Scripture. The commandment prohibits murder, not killing.

I wonder what God thinks when he taught us through his son to be NO PART of that world…..
Atrocities? You think America is not guilty of atrocities? It is guilty of what every other nation does….spews out propaganda about how horrible the enemy is and how they derserve everything they get….yet the people on the other side get fed the same propaganda.
I often wonder how the widows and orphans of those killed in battle feel when they see how traumatized and abandoned their veterans are…..and why they sacrificed their lives for the greed or promotion of superiority of their governments….?

In a world ruled by the devil, deception means that nothing is as it appears. Didn’t the pan-demic teach you that? Did you fall for the fear mongering and how people were treated if they refused the j a b? It was nothing more than an exercise in control…..and we all saw where it took the world….it will never be the same again.
Nowhere in the Bible does it tell Christians to put their head on the chopping block and surrender at will.
It does actually…..look at the apostles and how they handled persecution and wrongful imprisonment….did they put up a fight? Or did they meekly surrender as Jesus did, allowing God to take care of them?
Were Christians martyred for their faith? Yes, they were killed by their enemies but God will reward their faith…..he will not reward the faithless who put their trust in man….the devil’s minions.

Paul put it most succinctly….
Rom 12:17-21…
”Return evil for evil to no one. Take into consideration what is fine from the viewpoint of all men. 18 If possible, as far as it depends on you, be peaceable with all men. 19 Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but yield place to the wrath; for it is written: “‘Vengeance is mine; I will repay,’ says Jehovah.” 20 But “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by doing this you will heap fiery coals on his head.” 21 Do not let yourself be conquered by the evil, but keep conquering the evil with the good.”

There it is….we conquer with spiritual weapons, not carnal ones.
2 Cor 10:4-5…
”For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things. 5 For we are overturning reasonings and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are bringing every thought into captivity to make it obedient to the Christ.”

It has often been said that the UN are “peacekeepers”…and yet are they?
What did Jesus say? “Blessed are the peacemakers”…..is there a difference between a “peacekeeper” and a “peacemaker”? Yes….weapons. The UN have tanks and military weapons to enforce peace….but is that the kind of peace that Jesus spoke about?

A “peacemaker” is one who brings about peace by peaceful means. If those who want to do us harm are intent on taking our lives or torturing us as Jesus’ enemies did to him…..does that justify a retaliation? NO! Because Jesus warned us that his true disciples would suffer this way as a means to prove their faith…not in man and his weapons, but in the power of God’s spirit to achieve his goals.…in his own way and in his own time…he has a massive and powerful angelic army…he does not need us to fight his battles at all…

We have to keep an eye out for all workings of Satanist ! it's as clear as that, for you or all of us will be played for fools in fact.

Jesus sumed it all up in regards of this world ! he pointed out that it is full of delusions and deceptions !

Now Salvation Jesus is the only way out of the Curse ! It's Slavery of this world or you can live a Life of abundance ? That is the Kingdom of God !

Now in the Bible it points our who can not enter into the Kingdom of God in fact, their is a List !

The List shows who are not worthy of God in fact !

Bad only expands under a curse ! Stupid Wars come about, and people can not see the forest for the trees !
They are looking in the wrong direction, maybe somone had set them down that path ? could that be, does it happen in business, never ? :nnna Chkl:o_O:rolleyes:

Overly limited. The State is an extension of the individual, its rights are derived from the rights of the individuals.
Where is that a law? Was that the case in Israel? Did the Jews need God’s sanction to fight their enemies?
They never won a battle without it. If you want to rely on corrupt men in high places who lie through their teeth about all their underlying agendas, then all the best with that.

God’s sanction with Israel was to protect their “God-given” land…a holy land, “flowing with milk and honey”…..gifted to his chosen nation, and with God’s help to protect it from foreign invaders who worshipped false gods.….tell me who in the world today has a land that is “God-given”? The British stole the land you call America from the indigenous people….and last time I looked stealing was a breach of the 8th Commandment. Your stolen land is not sacred to God any more than mine is….the land was not stolen without a lot of bloodshed…..you cannot be proud of that surely?
And today’s weaponry requires a much more masculine, less passive constraint of self defense to include preempting violence. That is, good guys don’t always shoot second.
Wow…..you actually think your country’s government are the “good guys”!? In a world ruled by the devil…there are no “good guys”.…sometimes just the lesser of two evils…
This explains the need take Saddam and Iran’s nuclear plants out. Collateral damage is a part of this responsibility of self defense.
O MY GOODNESS!!! “No country can have nuclear weapons except us “good guys”….even though we are the only ones who ever used them on human beings to purposely destroy innocent lives and to level everything within a ten mile radius, indiscriminately”….just because we could”…...how gullible are you?

“Collateral damage” and “friendly fire” were terms invented by murderers to excuse their trigger happiness.
I seriously can’t believe you can call yourself a Christian and think in such wicked carnal terms.
Then in God’s eyes you bear the same responsibility as the one who pulled the trigger or pressed the button…..
A true Christian will take a bullet for his fellow man, but he will never fire one.
Didn't Christ tell us to “love our enemies”? (Matt 5:43-44) How do you love someone with a nuclear bomb?
Yes, violence is how evil is conquered in the real world. It wasn’t our inherent goodness that took out the empire of Japan and the Nazi’s.
So God needs humans with their weapons of mass destruction to fight wars that have nothing whatever to do with him? If “the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one”….what part of “the world” is exempt?

That sad nation you call home, that now has more homeless people than many third world countries, is not the “great nation” you have been led to believe it is. You cannot make a nation “great again” if it was never great in the first place….how does one define “greatness”?…in military superiority? How many “great” military powers have come and gone since Christ walked the earth? Daniel gave us a foregleam, starting with Babylon, he said that 5 more world powers would come and go before the Kingdom “comes”….Anglo- American alliance is the last ruling power before God brings the curtain down on this wicked world and all who support it.

Wake up and see for yourself where we are….these days of trouble were foretold.
It explains why every country has both, military and police. And why many have private security, including armed security. Justice cannot be carried out without the potential for violence.
Again, with the justification….in case you haven’t noticed, the police now are fully armed and equipped just like the military.…Jack booted men in combat gear…..armed with their terrible weapons.
Where is the nice friendly cop on the beat these days? He is out dealing with crack heads and mentally ill people with automatic weapons. He is trying to protect front line hospital workers from the drunken crazies who no one seems to be able to stop.
All your citizens need to be armed against whomn ? Each other? Doesn’t that make your country the most dangerous country in the world to live in?

Does it surprise you that people look at America with pity because you all still swallow the propaganda and think a government can make a nation that is off the rails, “great again”…..in your dreams.
I already have justified it using Scripture. The commandment prohibits murder, not killing.
You tried, but you failed miserably. “Killing” without God’s sanction is “murder”.

No scripture supports your wish to promote bloodshed and political violence as something Christ ever taught or approved of. Your patriotism is overriding your Christianity..…your loyalties are divided just as Adam’s were….you have chosen to obey the same god he did….

We all know how history paints this awful event in the city of Hiroshima, and the one that followed in Nagasaki three days later….but how is the story told from the other side? How are the stories, told from two different perspectives, imprinted on the minds and hearts of those who experienced the events of that day……and the story told by those who perpetrated it?
Here is the other side of the story…..
Hiroshima

Did they know what they were doing? And if so, how could human beings perpetrate such atrocities on innocent victims of geography?……on men, women and children who were the innocent victims of war, not of their making…….what if the roles had been reversed and Japan had done that to NYC and again on Washington DC a few days later?

Did we know that a gag order was placed on reporting the horrendous state of the victims who were not instantaneously vaporized in the initial blast? Did we know that this bomb was detonated some 2000 ft above the ground to maximize the damage and death toll?

Do we wonder why the victims and their families didn’t advertise the fact that they were survivors?

Please watch the video and consider what precipitated the development and use of this heinous invention of science, now eclipsed in successive weapons developments, so that we understand what “toys” these ego maniacs have at their disposal in this 21st century, as they goad each other into perhaps, a third world war……

Who is running this show?…who is the real power behind the mindset of the world’s political leaders, who are his puppets……And then ask “why did Jesus tell us to be NO PART of it”? (1 John 5:19; John 17:16; John 18:36)

….but the most important thing to consider is what motivates hatred at this level? How are people in the military trained to dehumanize their “enemies”? Could we go there again? What is the political state of the world telling us?

When patriotic fervor is whipped up…..can we justify such violence as a solution for peace? When did war ever lead to lasting peace? Can Christians ever be involved in these things? (Matt 5:43-44)

I believe the answer is obvious….
This is obviously just one more LIBERAL WAY OF TWISTING THE FACTS.

In reality the Japanese planned their attack on America decades in advance. There airstrips, bunkers, and military installations that were developed across the south Pacific prove it. Here is a picture of one of their 1000-man bunker tunnels and Japanese Headquarters developed over 25 years before Pearl Harbor on the Island of Peleliu. It's the site of one of WW2's bloodiest battles, with nearly 1,000 US killed in a matter of hours. America responded to Japanese aggression. Know your history:

God puts a hedge around His people to protect them in this world. The Holy Spirit told me to get rid of all my guns, and I had several, and I did. God is my shield and protector. Over and over in Psalms and Proverbs, it says, Trust in the Lord.

Where is that a law? Was that the case in Israel? Did the Jews need God’s sanction to fight their enemies?
Where is that law? It's an observation of reality. The State represents the people therein.

Was that the case in Israel? Yes. It is universally the case.

Did the Jews need God’s sanction to fight their enemies? No. In today's devotional reading of 1 Samuel 17, David initiated violence on his own accord against Goliath with no sanction from God.
