President Joe Biden will award the nation’s highest civilian honor to more than a dozen politicians, philanthropists and cultural icons, the White House announced Saturday.

The list of 19 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipients includes former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and billionaire donor George Soros. The recipients are scheduled to receive the awards at a White House ceremony Saturday. Four people are being honored posthumously.


The medal is “presented to individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public or private endeavors,” the White House said in a news release.

Have you ever listen to Michael J Fox , he has so much humility and does so much to fund research into Parkinson’s, while most of his adult life has been impacted by the terrible illness. I am not really sure why my post got a ‘ Wow ‘ or what you are conveying by the picture. I personally don’t have a lot of time for the entertainment industry or the awards that are given, it’s like our New years honours lists that are given to celebrities and sports personalities. However those that go above and beyond to try and improve the lives and experience for others while being ill themselves , well I don’t have an issue with them being acknowledged.

I am not really sure why my post got a ‘ Wow ‘ or what you are conveying by the picture. I personally don’t have a lot of time for the entertainment industry or the awards that are given, it’s like our New years honours lists that are given to celebrities and sports personalities.
