I don’t see God as embracing everyone’s sins. Do you see Jesus Christ as as weak? I doubt you do. What is it about a Jesus Christ you see as power and strength instead of weakness?
You arent understanding me. Please reread what I said

Then help me understand you. I did reread what you wrote. I’m trying to understand what you call weak, what you call revenge, what you call wrath. To me it was a helpful question by asking you what is it about Jesus Christ you see as power and strength instead of weakness? To clarify that IS NOT my insinuating you ever said or thought Jesus Christ is weak. I’m asking what about Jesus Christ do you see as power and strength? Also what do you see about Jesus Christ as revenge? Or wrath? Or Justice? That is what this thread is about …my confusion over my counselor saying stay out of the Old Testament, you won’t like the God of the Old Testament. Stay in the New Testament. This was over seven years ago that the counselor told me this and it’s still in my mind. I have heard others say the same. Surely Jesus Christ revealed Gods Love, Patience, and long-suffering but also God’s revenge, Gods vengeance, and Gods wrath. God’s Justice.

There is a passage in: James 1:18-22 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. [19] Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: [20] For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. [21] Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. [22] But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

What that says to me is the wrath of men works not the righteousness of God.
To me that says a lot, my take away from that being God’s Wrath, Justice does work (bear, produce Life) the Righteousness of God. People will pinpoint this also in Jesus Christ when He fashioned a whip and ran the thieves out. They call His wrath not the wrath of men in running the thieves out, but a revealing God does have righteous Anger that produces the righteousness of God.

So I’m asking you what is it about Jesus Christ that you see reveals His Father as Not weak, but powerful and full of strength. What do you see about Jesus Christ that reveals unto you God is indeed Justice?

I keep things very simple. A perfect God cannot abide sin and will not tolerate sin in His presence. My time is nearly up (I am at the library) so cant do much more at the moment)
