God is not just Love. He is "A Jealous God"... for example, and He is a "long-suffering" God.
Why does God hand them over to a reprobate mind? even handing them over to satan so that they may learn not to blasphemy the name of God? Why does God hand them over to satan that they may learn? Why does Paul echo the same in putting them without the church for the destruction of the flesh, so the spirit may be saved? Why was Job handed over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, but in the end restored with better than the first? Why in Numbers 5 when a woman is suspected of going aside after another, leaving her husband she is brought before the priest. As Jesus Christ was brought before men. Jesus Christ was brought before the reprobate mind. The husband is jealous suspecting Guilt of blasphemy, suspecting another seed is in (they said such in “He has a devil”). Yet by the body of Christ, you also brethren —your husband is dead, and you are free to bear fruit unto God. Fear not drinking of the cup of the law of jealousies that causes you, for I overcome death. Numbers 5 and Romans 7 show the woman who is clean, not guilty and she bears fruit. Romans 7 says by the body of Christ you are Free from the Law of Jealousies. Under the law of jealousies there are priest who have infirmities…yet there is but One Priest over the House of God who —while priest with infirmities by reason of death were not able to continue—we having a High Priest who overcome death and we continue in and by and through Him.
Point is using jealousies as why there are two natures to God. We forget they dig a pit and fall into their own pit they dug for others. Through out the word it’s set a snare for other, yet catching yourself. It’s to do harm unto others, but it’s themselves they harm. You don’t see a pattern of those opposing their own selves? Doing harm to themselves. No God is not Santa. he does give them over to their vain imaginations …but who destroys them? What I read is God gives them over that they may learn, they may be taught to not blaspheme His name. Even the terror of the Lord is there is a weapon formed against you …going back to the beginning where if you do well the weapon formed against you will not prosper, but if you do evil then be afraid. It is hard where Paul says to put that which is evil without the body for its destruction. But in all the accounts I read it’s handed over to satan. Isn’t this primarily what the hell doctrine teaches as well? That Satan rules a place of torment and those who are are not saved are tossed into hell to be tormented forever by Satan? Only thing is in this doctrine men present there is NO chance of “that they might learn not to blaspheme God”. It is a forever place of fire which burns and consumes. Where satan is with his pitch fork and torments them with fire never ending.
God is the God who Sent Jesus To the Cross, and He's the same God who burned into ash, a city filled with sexual perverts.
(He burned them).
Yet our weapons are not carnal, they are spiritual for the pulling down of strong holds? God is Spirit?
Jesus said, "if you have seen ME, you have SEEN the Father.""
Jesus once made a Whip.. and took this WHIP into the Temple in Jerusalem, and used it to force all the "traders".. the "sellers" to have to run out of the building.
The Apostles saw this and were "freaked out" (Original greek text), and they remembered the OT verse that says.. "the Zeal of my Father's HOUSE, has EATEN ME UP"....
It was
the people —the poor, the broken—they devoured and have eaten up. Same as when Jesus Christ met Paul on the road and asked “Saul, Saul, why to you persecute Me?” It was the body of Jesus Christ that Paul imprisoned and was taking before men to be judged and sentenced to death.
Same above in “the zeal of my Fathers’s Houses,
has eaten Me up.” It was Paul’s persecutions of His body. It was their zeal having eaten up the House of God. Beautiful is still Jesus Christ standing not to prove His wrath, but instead His love for the things of God. Same with Paul
Acts 22:19-20 And I said, Lord,
they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on you: [20] And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and
consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him.
Like the widow. A widow is one whose husband is dead. Christ is going to the cross for the fatherless and widows. paul tells his brothers in Romans 7 they are also widows by the body of Christ their husband is dead, free to marry another, even Him who raised from the dead to serve in Newness and not oldness of the letter which kills. Luke 20:46-47 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts; [47]
Which devour widows' houses, and for a shew make long prayers:
the same shall receive greater damnation. Galatians 5:15 But
if you bite and devour one another, take heed that
you be not consumed one of another.
No, God is no Santa Claus in putting forth that if you destroy one another, take Heed, that you be not destroyed one of another. (Is this God destroying or disobeying you consume and devour yourselves?). If we believe in the doctrine of torment and hell that consumes and devours. Do we believe if you bite and devour we should be careful we don’t devour and consume each other?
