Hating this life on earth

In Luke, there is a passage where Jesus says to be his disciple, we must hate even our own lives.

Even though my life is as good as it can possibly be, all I know right now is that I hate that I can't be in heaven with Jesus right now.

When I think about the world and how messed up it is, or even about my own life and how I just feel a sense of loss being on earth, I just want to translate straight into heaven and meet the Lord.

If you can relate, Id love to know. Do you think this is what it means to hate our life on earth?

Oh I can sure relate. A fellow friend of ours and @amigo de christo who was sister Turtletwo, used to call it being Homesick for Heaven.

I can completely relate to what you are saying. We just want to go Home to the Lord, because we know it’s far better. Let’s just remember that this is vapour life and we will be Home with the Lord before we know it.

In the meantime, we will keep marching onwards in the Lord, as whether we are called Home, or we see the Lord’s return, we know that very soon we will be there. The Lord’s return is very close.

And yet, they do have a part of the truth. To receive the Holy Spirit is to receive eternal life. But there are vessels of honor and of dishonor.

So as epi says, saved, yes. But saved to what?

The vessels of dishonor do not have the HOLY SPIRIT or they would be vessels of HONOR . The HOLY SPIRIT
is more than just goosebumps . ITS REAL , ITS HOLY and it teaches us TO walk righteously , godly and soberly in this present world .
SO truth is , Purge thyself from the vessels of dishonor and ye shall be a vessel unto honor indeed . Did you know
paul actually says the same thing . Yes its true , i dont just pull things out of thin air . I often bring the scrips
and yet without the verse and etc and most folks cannot recognize them . I think todays chruches
are big on only a FEW certain scrips and even those are twisted and taken out of text to make void other parts of the scrips .
I SAY WE EMBRACE IT ALL . LEARN IT ALL , LOVE IT ALL, BELIEVE IT and DO IT . NOW put those hands UP and let
the glorious LORD be praised .

There's things we still have to do while here in this world.

Two things i can think of ............GET JESUS TO THE LOST and BUILD the church up with bible doctrine WHILE WE STILL
have time to do so . CAUSE the day , YEAH ITS APPROACHING .
Exhort one another daily and SO MUCH THE MORE as YE SEE the DAY APPROACHING . YEAH ITS APPROACHING and
i aint gonna let anyone believe we got all this time left . WHEN we do not . THE SENSE of urgency
that this world is on a head on collision with the DAY OF THE LORD , just keeps increasing . As does the sin of this world fast increase as well .
ONE DAY SOON that sky is gonna rip wide open and the KING OF GLORY Shall come for the lambs and to lay down the wrath
of GOD on all who rejected the love of the truth , the gospel . OH ITS COMING and i suggest we be ready , waiting and watching
and doing all things to point to Christ and staying planted in bibles , prayers and hearers and doers of the word .
BE YE as folks who WAIT FOR THEIR LORD . Cause HE IS A COMING and no man wants to be found naked on that day . NO ONE .

@Wynona Well....it can't mean that there's no more sense in being on this earth....because while we are still here, albeit still looking up (...'looking unto Jesus' - Hebrews 12.2), we have service opportunities until He calls us home; Matthew 28's Great Commission is for ppl to serve Him in witness while we are down here......

Actually be the end of today many in the world will have died . THUS GET JESUS OUT TO ALL that has breath
while we still have time to do so . cause one way or another the COMING OF THE LORD draws very nigh indeed .
The actual coming of JESUS draws very nigh . And there will be many folks dying even before that day , WHICH IS QUITE NIGH indeed .
So either way TIMES FASTRUNNING OUT . My advice , flee the false unity we are one churches and may all
start pointing to the BIBLICAL JESUS and all sound biblical doctrine . cause we have way too many preaching another jesus
another gospel , and it aint saving a soul one who buys their lies .
